Compare Cruise Insurance – You often get what you pay for!

Filed under: Web Of Media — admin @ 11:37 pm

When planning a travel vacation or cruise vacation, the last thing that one wants to think about is trouble or cancellation. Thus travel and cruise insurance is often left on the back burner. However, when the time comes to purchase your vacation insurance, be sure that you compare cruise insurance and travel insurance policies to ensure that you are getting what you expect. As always, it’s “buyer beware”!

That’s not to say that all insurance policies and companies are out to deceive you or hide the terms of insurance pay-outs. In fact, most are very reputable. The problem comes when trying to economize while buying insurance. You really do “get what you pay for” in most cases – especially when you compare insurance policies.

There are often so many variables when purchasing cruise insurance or travel insurance that we can become somewhat complacent with what we are purchasing. Again, “Buyer Beware!” Make sure you know what’s available and what’s included in your insurance policy package. As an example, insurance companies like Travel Guard International, America’s largest provider of travel insurance offers a wide range of benefits with their Comprehensive Coverage. Included in Travel Guard’s packages are the following benefits:

· Trip Cancellation – Providing reimbursement of 100% of trip cost if the trip is cancelled under the terms of the insurance policy.
· Trip interruption – Providing reimbursement of trip cost if the trip is interrupted as covered by the insurance policy such as evacuation due to hurricane.
· Trip Delay – Providing reimbursement for additional accommodations or travel expenses if the traveler is delayed for more than several hours.
· Lost, Stolen or Damaged Baggage and travel documents – Providing reimbursements if luggage is lost, damaged or stolen while the insured is traveling, or if travel documents are lost or stolen.
· Baggage Delay – Providing reimbursement for the purchase of essential items if your bags are delayed more than 24 hours.
· Medical Expenses – Providing reimbursement for necessary medical expenses up to one year after the illness or injury providing the insured traveler sought medical treatment while on the trip.
· Emergency Medical Transportation – Covering the cost of evacuation and transportation to the nearest adequate medical facility.
· Travel Guard Assistance – A 24 hour hotline for emergency assistance, medical referrals, prescription replacement assistance, replacing travel documents and more.
· Livetravel – Travel Guard’s round the clock travel agent service for emergency or last minute travel changes such as rebooking flights, arranging hotels and ground transportation and tracking lost luggage.
· Concierge – 24 hour worldwide access to restaurant referrals/reservations, event tickets, tee times, floral services, ground transportation and more.

As well, in many cases, travelers purchasing Travel Guard insurance within 15 days of making their initial trip payment also receive at no additional cost:
· Pre-Existing Medical Condition Exclusion Waiver – protection if pre-existing medical conditions force cancellation or interruption of a cruise or trip.
· Default Protection – providing reimbursement of trip cost if the tour operator, cruise line, airline or other travel supplier declares bankruptcy more than seven days after the effective date of the policy.
· Change Your Mind – protection against cancellation fees when a trip is cancelled for any reason.

Please keep in mind that these benefits are subject to change, but at the time of this printing, are available. The above describes a comprehensive cruise or travel insurance policy. However, as they say, one size dose not fit all. You need to match your coverage requirements and budget restraints. Again, dealing with Travel Guard International, some of their popular products include:

· Cruise, Tour and Travel – Travel Guard’s most comprehensive travel insurance plan.
· ProtectAssist – Solid travel insurance for the budget-conscious traveler – and Travel Guard’s most popular plan.
· Cruise Guard – Travel insurance designed to surpass the protection plans offered by the cruise line.
· Air Ticket Protection – Protects air ticket investment against change fees, adds other assistance services.
· Student Travel Guard – A portfolio of student travel insurance plans protecting students on virtually all types from Spring Break to Semester Abroad.

We have identified, through the use of Travel Guard International’s plans and policies a vast number of cruise insurance options. We have stated before, but at the risk of being too repetitive, I think that it is important to re-iterate. “You get what you pay for. Buyer beware!”

The realtone that makes your cell phone fashionable

Filed under: Great Hardware Tips — admin @ 8:57 pm

Technology has known an amazing evolution in the last yeas, almost like in the fairytales we used to read as children. Starting from a big phone with a bunch of numbers on it to a device the size of box of matches, the mobile phone industry has seen an incredible evolution. The mobile phone industry has evolved to a point where it can boost other industries, like music and graphics. This is how the realtone and the mobile wallpapers become a part of our lives.

Mobile phones are now a necessity just like clothes. Not to have a cell phone means that you’re still living in the Stone Age. The truth is that a mobile phone has proven its necessity and its attractiveness. Unlike other things, mobile phones industry looks like it knows no boundaries, every month something better and with more features comes out, usually costing a lot of money. While the size of a mobile phone decreases the technical characteristics increase. The point where a cell phone is a small computer has been already reached. The old fashion cassette player or CD player has been replaced by a realtone and a picture has been replaced by mobile wallpapers. Everyone owns or wants to have a phone they can carry around with them - a device hat doesn’t weight much and can do a lot of tricks: play music and display images.

“Realtone” is now a very common word and it’s almost impossible not to have heard of it. What is a realtone? A realtone is a piece of music reproduced the same way as it would have been by a CD/MP3 a few years ago. The realtone has evolved from a mono ringtone. This type of ringtone represents a lot of musical notes played on only one channel. This is how the first cell phones rang. After that the sound was played on two channels and four channels, then sixteen. This is how polyphonic ringtones became really popular. What was the next logical step after this? A realtone. Now, when your cell phone rings, you can hear a piece of your favorite melody or the voice of someone you really appreciate – actor, politician, girlfriend, wife or children. A realtone doesn’t have to be only part (a fragment) of the song, it can be the full song, but this can happen only if your mobile phone allows it. Some phones have a lot of memory space so you can enjoy more than one realtone. A realtone is basically a song in mp3 format which you can use however you want.

Music isn’t he only thing that has evolved in time concerning the cell phones. Images are very important also. That’s why, instead of the monochrome screen with numbers on it, nowadays we have colored liquid crystal screens with complicated graphics available. A screen can have 4000 colors, 64000 colors and 256000 colors displayed on its screen. The more colors it has the better the image will be. What is the use of a color screen if not for pictures and mobile wallpapers? You have surely heard and seen this type of images especially if you use a computer. The amazing thing is they are not made only for computers now. You phone has mobile wallpapers now. These images are used as backgrounds for your phone to make it more appealing to the user’s eye. Cell phones are very much used because this is the era of speed and technology. Therefore, when you deal with such a device every day, you want to personalize it and make it more enjoyable. Mobile wallpapers work the same way as the wallpaper on your computer. They make you feel better because the image you like to see most is in front of your eyes every time you look at your phone. You can choose from a variety of mobile wallpapers, just like you can use any realtone to personalize your phone.

Getting your phone in fashion is not very difficult. A realtone or mobile wallpapers can be order of the Internet or even from TV. Selling realtones and mobile wallpapers has become a money making business. Ordering one of these online can cost from one dollar to three dollars and the same goes for TV orders. When ordering from TV all you have to do is send a message to a number they give you with the specifications of the realtone or wallpaper you want and in a couple of minutes you will receive a message containing the picture you ordered. For this simple thing you pay extra on your mobile bill. Another thing people do is download music, pictures or movies straight from their computer through a USB cable or a Bluetooth adaptor. This is a better idea because it’s free.

If we are able to do a lot of things with our cell phones, why not do it? Not so long ago, technology was limiting us because these facilities were not available, but now, that they are so easily obtained, there’s nothing to stopp us from getting exactly what we want. If you have a good cell phone, it would be a shame not to have a couple of realtones or some mobile wallpapers to make you feel better, at least once in a while.

You can follow the fashion trend by visiting this site and seeing the novelties in mobile wallpapers or changing your realtone.

Post Launch Laundry List - Did You Know You Should Have One? Part Deux

Filed under: Commerce World — admin @ 6:10 pm

With your autoresponders on set and forget, and your product flying off your virtual shelves you’d think this project was done wouldn’t you? Nope, not by a long shot. There are a number of things you should consider when you are running a marketing campaign to maximize your monetization of that campaign.

To take shortcuts is simply leaving money on the table. The fact of the matter is that most products have a relatively short shelf life because people are fickle and will quickly move on to “bigger and better”. This truth is even more evident with digital products. There’s a little secret amongst many in the Internet Marketing community that goes a little something like this, “If you can’t afford something you want, wait four months and it’ll be free”. Shhh, don’t tell.

So, what does that have to do with you and your campaign? Well, it means you have a limited window in which you can capitalize on your product or program that you so brilliantly developed. And you need to make the best of that window or you will lose money.

One way that you can additionally leverage your product or program’s existing popularity is with the One Time Offer. I’m sure many of you have seen them and didn’t even know that was what you were looking at. The One Time Offer comes in many different shapes and sizes but they all do the same thing, they add new revenue and fully leverage the popularity of your campaign.

Let’s revisit Part 1 of this series and combine it with Part “Deux” to see how this all ties together-

1) You advertise your newsletter or free giveaway in return for prospect’s information

2) Prospect gets freebie and or begins receiving newsletter

3) Prospect is redirected to your main sales page and views your offer. If he/she makes the purchase, they are then directed to your One Time Offer for additional monetization. If prospect clears out and makes no purchase they continue onto number 4.

4) Your autoresponder begins to market the prospect with a series of well written and well timed messages promoting your original offer.

5) If your prospect does purchase as a result of one of your 10-15 follow up messages they are then directed to…what? Yes, your One Time Offer.

Let’s hit on key components of a One Time Offer that will increase your chances of success with it. Don’t call it a “One Time Offer”. People like personalization, and One Time Offer has been used to death…so call it Franks Special Deal…Today Only!, or Sam’s Super Sale, Now or Never!…you get the gist. Just be certain to emphasize that this deal is only available while the prospect is on that page; and if they leave without dropping the hammer it will be available for much more elsewhere.

Your objective is to create a sense of urgency that adds new revenue to your bottom line. There are definitely things your do NOT want to do…don’t offer products irrelevant to your primary campaign. If your campaign is horse shampoo and your One Time Offer is for “The Surefire Blackjack Beater” you’re not gonna sell squat, and you’ll lose all your subscribers just as fast as you get them.

Also, never offer garbage. Don’t just slap together 5 reseller items that your buyer can get anywhere else for free or for next to nothing. Lastly, don’t go ballistic on price either. You’re a marketer, so you are looking to profit, but you don’t need to get obscene with it.

With this technique you completely leverage your relationships with your subscribers and you are monetizing your campaign to the best of your abilities. However, let me throw in a twist on this that I haven’t seen anywhere else and which has been working quite well for me…again, Shhhh. “The New Subscriber One Time Offer…it looks a lot like the post-purchase One Time Offer, but not exactly.

With this technique you will actually redirect your recent newsletter or free giveaway subscribers to a One Time Offer sales page once they have registered. Your pitch would read something like this, “As a subscriber you are entitled to special offers that you cannot find anywhere else. Right now, and right now only, you can get such and such for only $X” Get it?

You will be able to monetize brand new subscribers in a way that’s not being done anywhere else. And here’s the really cool part. If you are double opting your subscribers, you already know that 10-30% will never complete the confirmation. If you get a One Time Offer in front of them, you will be able to cash in on some of those which you never would have been able to before. If they don’t complete the second opt-in then you can’t mail them. No mail, no money. Well, here’s your opportunity to benefit from their first opt.

So, now you truly have leveraged your existing customer base and you learned how to leverage those cats that just couldn’t seem to complete their double opt confirmations. You’ve done this with the One Time Offer or its twisted sister, “The New Subscriber One Time Offer”. You are the epitome of leverage and monetization. Tune in next week when we discuss one other “hot” item on your Post Launch Laundry List.

Exploring New Trails

Filed under: Great Recreation Tips — admin @ 5:49 pm

You’ve decide to start hiking. You bought a pair of boots and
some other gear. You’ve also picked up a hiking guidebook or
some maps and you’re ready to go hiking. Now you just have to
decide where to go so it’s time to pick a trail.

You should start by hiking a few popular trails. Yes, you’ll
have to deal with a more people on these trails but there is
usually a good reason why these trails are popular. Usually,
they have some amazing scenery; a spectacular overlook, near a
nice lake, some unusual geologic formations or lead you to a
distinctive peak.

Once you’ve explored the popular trails, you will have a better
sense of what interests you and what you want to explore on
future hikes. You can start to make mental lists of trails that
will be good when you are in certain moods. I usually have a few
hikes that I am looking forward to doing if I want to get a
great workout, don’t have a lot of time but want to see
something cool, or when I have the time for a long hike. One my
list I have trails to see changing leaves, out-of-the-way remote
trails, trails that are great for the kids and trails for when
guests are in town.

If you really get into hiking you will probably end up having
the same type of lists in your head, even if you don’t know it.
You’ll probably want to have a hike that is shaded by trees for
those hot days and thoughts of a south-facing trail that should
have less snow than others for the winter time.

I usually make some of these notes in a hiking journal but you
can jot your note in your guidebooks as you read them. It
doesn’t matter how you remember these trails as long as you can
refer back to them later. When you feel like trying something
new, these notes will come in handy and will be a good starting
point. Whatever you do, explore new areas is great way to get
you excited again. So get out there and enjoy it!

How do Oil Spills Happen

Filed under: Science Parlor — admin @ 4:51 pm

When we hear about an oil spill that has occurred in some part
of the world we may be unaware of just how much oil has been
spilled into either the water or on land. When we are talking
about an oil spill, we are talking about a huge amount of oil
that can do serious damage to the environment in which it was
spilled.

How do Oil Spills happen?

Oil spills into rivers; bays and oceans are caused by accidents
that usually involve tankers, barges, or refineries. Usually the
oil is being transported to another part of the world for
various reasons. People who by some form or another make
mistakes or are being careless in what they are doing cause the
spills themselves. Oil spills are not always caused by human
mistake however; sometime machinery can break down which cause
oil to spill out into the surrounding environment.

What happens when oil spills occur?

If an oil spill occurs in the ocean, the oil itself will float
in salt water. It has been found that if the oil spill occurs in
fresh water there is a good chance that the oil will float on
top of the water as well. Believe it or not this is a good
thing. This means that the oil is confined to the surface of the
water, which makes containing the spill a little easier. The
problem is that in water the oil will spread out quickly over
the surface of the water. The more time the oil is left in the
water the more it will spread out to cover a wider surface area,
which can have a negative impact on the rate at which it can be
contained and corrected.

When oil spills occur in the ocean there is always a chance that
the marine life as well as birds and other animals will be
negatively affected. Some oil spills have a greater impact on
the wildlife then others, but no spill is good. Birds and other
animals that are covered in fur, the oil itself actually
destroys or breaks down the insulating ability of the fur. For
birds, if the fur is covered in oil, the water-repelling
abilities of the fur are affected. This exposed the animals to
the harsh elements of the environments in which they live. There
have been many animals killed as a result of oil spills in the
oceans around the world.

Who takes care of Oils Spills?

When an oil spill occurs, who takes care of the problem? There
are various, local and federal agencies that can be called upon
to take care of oil spills. No matter who is called to take care
of the spill the methods employed to clean up the spill are the
same. Some agencies will be better equipped to clean up bigger
spills whereas local agencies and organizations can handle the
smaller, less dangerous spills. It is a criminal offence not to
report an oil spill and failure to do so can result in jail
time.

Shorten Your Blogging-RSS Learning and Submission Curve

Filed under: Blogging Stuff — admin @ 4:32 pm

A blog is a frequent, online publication of comments, web links, and news. It is an online Enzine of sorts. People maintained blogs long before the term was coined, but the trend gained momentum with automated published systems, most notably is blogger.com. Thousands of people use services such as Blogger alone.

So start your blog now and be ahead of the crowd for a change. A secret I’ll share with you here before going any further is after you set up your blog goto
FeedBurner and follow the instructions to burn your feed. Then publicize your feed by inserting the msn and yahoo chicklets to your blog.

I know it sounds complicated but if you can follow simple instructions and cut and paste it should only take a few minutes. Caution you must be familiar with HTML so as not to make mistakes. If you’re not sure ask a friend or if you don’t know anyone I’ll be glad to assist. This info is for you if you’re familiar with the web - if you’re a newbie it’ll take a bit longer to implement

Once the chicklets are installed onto your blog, login to them using your yahoo and msn id’s and add them to your my msn and my yahoo templates. From then on when you make an entry to your blog it’ll automatically log itself onto msn and yahoo and broadcast itself to the web in addition to your rss feeds. Once this is done goto
PingOMatic and ping your blog to be indexed within days; not weeks or months.

Here are the reasons you should not ignore Blog advertising:

Remember when all search engines were free, and simply submitting your web sites got you listed quickly? Gone.

Then it was FFA pages, they brought in a ton of free traffic, built links to your site, and added to your mailing list like crazy. Tried one lately? Safelists were an online goldmine for a while… until bottom less email accounts were introduced.

Website sumbmissions now can take anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks to be indexed. While blogs and rss feeds can be indexed anywhere from 2-8 days which is better for you??

So once again I implore you to be one of the first in line and not be last again. This is the new trend just beginning to breakthrough. A few years or months from now you’ll be able to sit back and smile as you watch the rest of the net stampeding to catch up.

Finding A Thin Credit Or No Credit Motorcycle Loan

Filed under: Cash Advance Resources — admin @ 4:21 pm

It is no secret that thin or no credit can hurt just like bad credit when shopping for motorcycle loans. The main reason for this is that lenders all have a variety of strategies on how to approach motorcycle loans in their loan portfolios. Some lenders see motorcycles loans as a risky but feasible business investment, while other lenders label motorcycles loans as a high risk money losing investment. Overall, the general perception of most lenders is that a motorcycle is a “toy” and therefore motorcycle loans are much more risky than other types of loans. This “toy” labeled perception from lenders is a critical component which makes shopping for a motorcycle loan much more difficult for motorcycle buyers with thin or no credit.

If you would like to get approved for limited or no credit motorcycle loans, the first step is to look online. Many online lenders are very competitive with offering motorcycle loans and some of them specialize in limited or no credit motorcycle loans.

If you have searched online and are still having trouble getting approved due to thin or no credit, it is critical that you begin to understand the impact of your FICO credit score. Essentially, a FICO credit score is the number one variable most lenders use in approving you for a motorcycle loan. The FICO credit score is a computer generated score which is comprised of your credit payment history, amount owed, length of credit, amount of new credit and types of credit.

Since many people with thin or no credit do not even have a FICO credit score associated with their credit file their motorcycle loan applications are sometimes automatically declined by lenders. Therefore, the first step to getting approved for a limited or no credit motorcycle loan is to start building credit history. In order to get a computer generated FICO credit score with your credit file you must have at least one credit account that has been open for at least 6 months and has been updated at least once in the previous 6 months.

This requirement can make it tough for young motorcycle buyers or immigrants who wish to establish a credit score since some lenders will not extend credit to people with a thin file. However in today’s age, there are credit card companies willing to give newcomers a credit card with a small $500 limit to get started.

As a result, if all else has failed and you have limited or no credit a great way for you to begin building your FICO credit score is to get a low credit limit credit card and begin using it regularly for small everyday purchases. The key to this strategy is keeping your purchases small and frequent and paying off the balance every month on time. Always try to avoid maxing out the credit cards or even using more than 30% of the available credit limit. To make this easy some small purchases can even become automatic by putting things like monthly cable or telephone bills on automatic credit card payment.

The bottom-line is that finding a limited or no credit motorcycle loan can be challenging, but working smarter by shopping for a motorcycle loan online and also beginning to build a credit history can take a lot of pain out of the process.

PPC Management Starts with A Great Keyword List

Filed under: Plugs — admin @ 2:47 pm

Your keyword lists are the root of a good PPC campaign. You should
properly research and source quality keywords. Create a good
long list. Go deep and go wide, by this I mean investigate every avenue
and every avenue off every avenue etc.

Here’s a quick example of how to expand your lists by investigating
related avenues. In this example I’ll use mortgage as the base keyword.

Mortgage is a very competitive keyword on the Net simply because the
commissions are so high. So how do you break into the market without
paying over the odds?

Create your first list and think of different ways your prospect could
interpret mortgage e.g. buy house, bad credit mortgage, best loan,
house purchase finance, no status loan, home finance, etc. This really
is only slightly removed from the base keyword, you should dig
deeper still.

Next try expanding into types of mortgage – flexible, interest only etc.
take these and mix them up with your first list, as you do this you’ll find
avenues of keyword groups present themselves from single keywords
e.g. interest only house loan, flexible home finance etc.

You could create an Ad group focused entirely on mortgage company
names take that further still and add a .com to the name or a co.uk or
your own country extension e.g. www.somemortgagecompany.com.au
It doesn’t matter if this domain doesn’t exist, people type things like this
into a search engine so it’s possible you can pick up low cost traffic
with these keywords.

Avoid the general keywords and dig a little deeper to expand on
related terms or, here’s a good one, rephrase those terms e.g. turn
cheap mortgage around and use mortgage cheap too. Put yourself
in your prospects shoes. What would they search for? How would they
type it into Google? People don’t always type a search phrase in a
logical order.

For some quick avenues to explore check out these keyword goldmines –

Plurals, domain names, serial numbers, product numbers, spelling errors,
no spaces between the phrase words e.g. buywidget. Add .com or
.net or .info etc, company names, company domain names,
domain names and variations e.g. mydomain.com www.mydomain etc.
Add superlatives e.g. best, cheap, cheapest, best buy. Competition site
names, foreign words, US or UK spelling, product names, typo’s,
hyphens instead of spaces.

Be sure to separate out all these keywords in to different lists. You
should be setting up different Ad groups for each. It’s important to not
just drop them all into one campaign together. Instead place all the
typos in one Ad group all the plurals in another and so on. This will
make for easietr targeting of your ad writing depending on your
Ad groups keywords. Plus tracking results will be simpler.

Another great source for keywords are your site Log files trhey’ll tell
you exactly what keyphrase has been used to find your site by a visitor.

Search for your main keywords on the search engines and see what
related terms pop up. Check the meta tags on your competitors site.
Check the copy on your competitors site.

Do you see were this is going. I trust that gives you an idea of the power of
going deep and wide on your keyword list building. Remember this is
the first building block on which to lay down your PPC management.

Seven Benefits Of Mediation

Filed under: New Age Tips + More — admin @ 1:42 pm

Should I take him to court? What are my options?

Well, lawsuits and litigation have their appropriate place and function in our society, but in some instances, such as preserving on-going relationships, suing someone is like trying to remove a fly from a person’s head with a hatchet. I am often asked what are the benefits of resolving a dispute through mediation versus traditional litigation. Here is a list of benefits that mediation can provide.

It’s A Reality Check. Individuals, business, and organizations often use the tactic of playing deaf when you have a complaint, hoping that you will lose interest over time and go away. Mediation is the bridge between direct negotiation and the legal system. It lets the other side know that you are serious and that you want them to come voluntarily to the negotiating table while they still have a chance. By asking them to attend mediation, you are building them a golden bridge towards agreement and all they have to do is choose to walk across.

It’s Safe. The legal system awards unfair and aggressive tactics, making the playing field unequal. In mediation, you are in complete control throughout the process. The mediator will not permit any unfair tactics, so the playing filed is equalized. Mediation is voluntary, so you always reserve the right to proceed with litigation if you want.

It’s Affordable. Hiring an attorney can cost thousands of dollars for even a simple case, without a firm guarantee of proper resolution. Mediation provides an affordable alternative to costly litigation.

It’s Fast. Lawsuits can take years off your life in waster time, frustration, money, and emotional pain. Mediation usually takes only a fraction of the time that the legal system takes.

It’s Confidential. Cases handled in court are typically open to the public, so anyone can listen in on your private life. Confidentially in a mediation is protected by law, so you can resolve your dispute with privacy and with dignity.

It’s Empowering. Traditional litigation is hostile, adversarial, and aggressive. It focuses on assigning blame and punishment. Mediation doesn’t assign blame or punishment—it seeks to invent solution to a mutual problem through cooperative problem-solving.

It’s Emotionally Healthy. The legal system rarely takes the psychological or emotional factors of either party into account. Litigation is cold, hard, and uncaring. Both parties are instructed not to talk to each other and neither side gets to voice their concerns. Mediation uses the psychological power of empathy to create mutual understanding between parties to address concerns, promote emotional healing, and preserve ongoing relationships.
