Three Way Links, The Silver Bullet of Inbound links

Filed under: School of Traffic Building — admin @ 8:17 pm

I am not going to bore you by loading this article with a bunch of redundant, irrelevant garbage you already know. So let’s just cut to the chase.

I’m tired of reading the same old Link popularity articles. No one is saying anything new. The main question on everyone’s mind is “How can I get and KEEP a good ranking in the major search engines?” Even those websites doing well are fighting to keep their place. There must be a way to consistently appear in a good position with the major search engines?

Reciprocal links, OBSOLETE

Webmaster long ago realized the importance search engines attached to link popularity for top search index positioning and resorted to reciprocal linking hocus pocus. However this practice does not indicate either site as being an authority and actually gives a slight edge to the lesser ranked site. This strategy has already become obsolete and very soon the search engines will change their algorithms and teach their spiders to take it into account.

Inbound One Way Links, ALMOST IMPOSIBLE

To achieve high link popularity the best type of links to build are inbound one-way links. This simulates how natural links would accrue when other webmasters point to your site because they found the content worth linking to. Unless you are a manufacturer getting other webmasters to link to your site without you linking back is almost impossible. BE HONEST, would you do that? If you are interested in building inbound links here is an excellent article with lots of suggestions by Salihu Ibrahim

Link popularity, SAME OLD STUFF

So to build link popularity you resort to the same old stuff. Directories are categorized listings of links from around the web so you spend an evening getting listed in quality directories such as DMOZ or Yahoo, then a few more hours searching out smaller link directories. Here a new problem arises. I have noticed a trend in smaller directories today, you pay for a listing or for a free listing you have to reciprocate. Spend cash or get trash. Now what?

Content, Content, Content

We all know the most powerful way to get inbound, one-way links is to have great site content that other web sites will want to link to. So you write a few interesting and informative articles for your web site. Most of the top ranking web sites today got to the top because of great content why not you. Now you can send out a few e-mails to webmasters whose sites are in the same category and offer links to your content thus creating one way links, but they may ask for reciprocation, so what do you do?

The Real Silver Bullet, THREE WAY LINKS

If you are observant you will see that many websites are part of a group, sometimes owned by the same person. In many cases this has been done to push visitors, influence spiders or just for convenience. What ever the reason, if you can find this situation you can set up the perfect link scenario, three way links. I will give you only a couple examples. For these examples you are site A.

Text link from site A (your article) (PR3) linking to a similar article on site B (PR4) and a link back to site A’s index page (PR5) from site C’s index (PR5) — Or — A link from the partners page (PR3) on site A to the main page of site B (PR4) and a link from one of site C’s category pages (PR4) to an article on site A (PR3)

In each link scenario everyone gets a one way link. This can be set up in any field of interest, internet, photography, fishing, hunting, shopping, anyplace where articles or content would appear. Delivering relevant links from relevant content is the key. If you come across an opportunity like this simply send an email to the web site owner requesting a possible three way link exchange. Ask them to visit your site and read your article first before making a decision. If your site is laid out well and the article content has some quality a smart webmaster will jump at the chance.

They may like a number of your articles so make sure each article has your byline with a link pointing to your site. Make sure that the text link has your keywords in it and not your domain name and remember that good author tag lines have a maximum of two links. Associating a Creative Commons license to your work is also a good idea, you keep your copyright but allow people to copy and distribute your work provided they give you credit — and only on the conditions you specify.

Summary

Increasing your search engine ranking is best accomplished by improving your web site’s link popularity. This can be achieved by using your sites content as leverage in setting up one-way links via three way link exchanges. Each exchange takes a little time and a lot of thought but the end result will benefit both parties and seeing your efforts turn into a dramatic increase in traffic will be your reward.

Hair Removal Tips For Bodybuilders

Filed under: Fitness Training — admin @ 7:07 pm

One of the most time consuming and frustrating parts of
bodybuilding is not building muscles, it’s removing unwanted
hair.

For any competing bodybuilder, hair removal is a must but
it’s also growing in popularity among casual bodybuilders.

Before looking at recommendations for specific body areas it
should be stated that laser hair removal or electrolysis
are
regarded as the only permanent hair removal methods.

Although the most effective, they are also the most
expensive! For full information on laser hair removal and
electrolysis, visit this Laser Research Library:
http://www.about-hair-removal.com/Laser-Library

Here is checklist of body areas and recommended hair removal
methods for each:

Upper Lip, Chin, Mustache and Beard -

Men: Shaving.

Women: Waxing or sugaring.

Back of Neck -

Men: Shaving, clipping.

Women: Waxing or sugaring

Chest -

Waxing, shaving, depilatories.

CAUTION: Some find the shaving option unacceptable due to
the irritation it causes when stubble reappears shortly
afterwards. There can also be an acute problem with ingrown
hairs in some cases. Once the shaving option is taken for
chest hair removal it will need to be done regularly.

Nipples -

Tweezing. Stretch the skin slightly, grip the hair close to
the root, and pull gently, firmly and evenly. Yanking the
hair may cause it to break off thus increasing the risk of
ingrown hair.

Shoulders, Back, Arms, Hands, Tummy -

Waxing, sugaring, depilatories. Waxing or Sugaring is the
best method for all these areas. Taking a shower directly
after waxing the back helps eliminate the possibility of
acne breakouts and skin redness.

Underarms -

Shaving is safe in this area. Hair under the arm grows in
all directions so a side to side stroke as well as up and
down strokes may be necessary to catch all the hairs. Do not
apply deodorants or antiperspirants right after shaving as
this can cause acute irritation and soreness.
Waxing or sugaring are also safe.

Do not use depilatories to avoid the risk of chemical burns
on the sensitive skin in this area.

After the skin in this area has become accustomed to
shaving, applying a thin layer of Vaseline petroleum jelly
instead of a shaving foam or gel will give a really close
shave.

Pubic Area and Bikini Line -
If the hair is long it can be cut down with scissors. Then
use a waxing or sugaring solution. Careful shaving is also
possible.

Genitals - Male -

Hair growing on the shaft of the penis and on the testicles
can be removed by shaving using a new wet razor. Great care
is needed to avoid cuts.

Genitals - Female -

Waxing or sugaring is generally best. Shaving will only
cause stubble to appear after a few days and it may cause
skin irritation and painful bumps.

Anus and Perineum -

The Perineum is the area of skin rich in nerve endings
located below the anus. In men it extends to the base of the
testicles, in women to the vaginal opening. The anus is a
mucous membrane. Depilatories should not be used as they can
result in serious damage. Shaving produces stubble which
may
cause irritation as the sides chafe and rub together. Waxing
or sugaring are the best methods.

Legs, Feet, Toes -

Shaving the legs is popular but the hair grows back after a
short time.
Waxing or sugaring are preferred although you have to wait
until there is about a quarter of an inch of growth.

Recommendation: Hair inhibitors can increase the
effectiveness of all the methods mentioned above (with the
exception of depilatories). By significantly reducing hair
growth hair removal sessions become less frequent. Click

Using Potty Dolls To Train Your Child

Filed under: Children Fun — admin @ 6:44 pm

Potty Training is stressful for both the parents and the child. You will need all the help you can get. The use of Potty Dolls are a very good tool for teaching your child how to utilize the toilet. The doll drinks and then “wets” when your child presses on the stomach. It has the internal plumbing that will simulate the bathroom process, making it easier for your child to grasp the idea.

There are a few tools you will need to get started; purchase the doll at a children’s store or website and get use to how it works. “Big Kid” underwear is your next purchase to get the child use to not using diapers. You will also need a potty chair or a potty seat cover to dismiss any fears your child will have of the big opening on the toilet. These will get you started on training your child to use the bathroom.

Start the process together. The child needs to name the doll, usually after someone, like a cartoon or someone they consider to be a Hero. Have the child feed the doll some water, then both of you walk to the potty chair pull down the dolls underwear, place it on the seat, and press on it’s stomach so it expels the water into the potty chair/seat. When that’s done make a big deal out of it with maybe horns or noise makers, or cookies and milk. This conveys to the child that using the potty is a good thing. The psychology here is that if their Hero does it and gains praise, then maybe your child should do it too. All young children thrive on praise from their parents.

Now is also the time to get rid of the diapers and introduce the Big Kid underwear to the child. Remember, the Hero Doll just used the underwear and wouldn’t your child want to be just like their Hero? Start giving the child a lot of liquids to encourage the use of the potty; this reinforces the need to use the potty.

Ask frequently if they need to go to the potty. Remember young children are not yet programmed to head to the potty when an urge is felt. Since they have been born they have just acted on that urge immediately. You need to train them to use the potty when they feel the urge and by mentioning it frequently they will get the hint.

When they are ready, take them to the potty and help them pull down their underwear. If you are successful in this endeavor praise the child profusely. This will be a positive reinforcement. Never, never ever scold a child if they have an accident because using negative attitudes will undo all your hard work in trying to get the child trained.

After your child has used the potty for the first time, it is time to get the milk and cookies out again to make him/her feel special, once more, turn the event into a positive rewarding experience.

Well you might say, that’s great information but when do I start? There are a zillion schools of thought on this. Some say as early as six months while others think it easier to train children when they are older. The best advice I have seen is to let your child tell you!

We’ve all seen little kids scrunch their faces and make grunting noises when the feel the need to “eliminate”. This is your cue that they are getting ready, so why not start right then. If they are completely against the potty training they will let you know, but if you follow the steps outlined above it will work.

Try to make this experience seem positive so that it will be virtually painless for both you and your child.

Good Luck!

To Timeshare Or Not

Filed under: Misc Infos — admin @ 4:29 pm

Timeshares are a large part of the vacation travel industry.
Travelers who cannot afford to own a home abroad, or who don’t
want the worries associated with exclusive ownership, often see
timeshares as an affordable alternative.

However, unscrupulous salespeople, poorly maintained properties
and unexpected hidden costs have brought a lot of bad publicity
to the industry. A well-informed consumer can avoid the common
pitfalls.

It is always risky to buy property sight unseen, but many people
do this when they purchase timeshares. If you purchase in an
area where you wish to vacation, you may be unpleasantly
surprised when you arrive at your destination.

However, many timeshares are purchased with the intent of
trading them for others in different locations, and in this case
the location of the property is a bargaining chip, not the
actual physical property. Timeshares in prime locations such as
Hawaii are easier to trade than others.

Recently, big corporations such as Disney, Hilton, Marriott and
Hyatt have entered the timeshare market, and their properties
are of a uniform standard around the world. First, you should
know that if you buy a new unit directly from a timeshare
company, it may cost up to 60% more than if you purchased from
the resale market.

Buying from a time-share company is more expensive primarily
because of the company’s marketing costs, which include free
trips, meals and vacation activities for prospective buyers.

Most customers of these timeshare companies buy on impulse,
without any intent to purchase when they first walked into the
timeshare seminar. Hard-sell tactics and
“Buy-it-NOW-one-time-only-offers!!!” are the rule, and to avoid
being pressured into a bad deal, the best tactic is to avoid
these sales presentations altogether.

Try the resale market for better deals. Time-share resales are
listed on many websites, on eBay and with independent time-share
brokers. The search term “timeshare resale” produced
approximately 500,000 results on Google, so there are plenty of
services to choose from.

If you buy directly from an individual, a resale broker or a
lawyer can handle the closing for a charge of $300 to $500.

If you are buying a timeshare for the resale value, consider
regular real estate instead. Timeshares do not increase in value
in tandem with conventional real estate. From a strictly
financial point of view, time shares are poor investments.

Most real estate increases in value, but this is not always the
case with time-shares, especially those bought directly from
timeshare companies. If you get a good deal on a resale
timeshare in a prime location, it may increase somewhat in
value. But usually time-shares are like cars — they are
commodities to be used, and are resold for less than the
original purchase price. Don’t think of timeshares as real
estate; you are buying a vacation plan.

Also, unless you buy in a prime location, swapping them may not
be easy. Timeshares are frequently sold on the claim that the
buyer can trade a week in one place for a week at another
location. This is only true if the location is in demand by
other vacationers. Otherwise, expect to vacation in the original
location each year.

To find out whether or not you will be happy with a timeshare,
it may be a good idea to rent one for your next vacation. Many
timeshare units are placed on the rental market by owners who
couldn’t get away to vacation at their alloted time, and these
units often rent at bargain prices. Check the same websites that
offer timeshare resales for available rentals.

There is a new “points” system being offered by some timeshare
properties. Instead of getting a week each year, buyers purchase
a set number of “points.” These can be redeemed for a week’s
stay during the peak season, for longer periods during the
off-season, or even spread over the year in two- or three- day
segments.

Some large hotel companies such as the Marriott also offer a
points systems whereby a stay at their hotel earn points in the
company’s time-share system. Points systems can be confusing, so
be sure you have a clear understanding of the services you are
buying.

For instance, find out how much advance time is required to
reserve a week at the resort during peak season, whether the
points have an expiration date, and if it is possible to
transfer the points to other facilities in the same resort
chain. However, when it comes to vacation planning, the points
system offers more flexibility because the buyer is not locked
into the same week every year.

Most important, don’t forget the annual maintenance fee.
Time-share owners are responsible for paying a portion of the
property’s upkeep. These annual fees, including maintenance and
real estate taxes, typically range from $300 to $700 per week of
ownership.

In summary, timeshares can be a good buy if they offer some
flexibility in terms of transferring to other locations and
timing your vacation.

The typical timeshare is a small condo with kitchen facilities
and one or two bedrooms, ideal for a family vacation, and since
such units rent for $150-200 per night, a timeshare purchase may
be a cheaper way to travel. However, if you are a mobile
traveller who likes to stay in a different town every night, a
single person who doesn’t need the extra space, or if you travel
at unpredicatable times, then a time share may not be suitable.

How To Choose A Spacious Car!

Filed under: Cars, Trucks, USVs — admin @ 11:19 am

Have you ever felt that your little car can no longer handle your ever growing family members? Have you ever thought of getting a new, bigger, more spacious car? If so, then this article will show you how to choose the perfect spacious car for your family!

First off, the choice for a more spacious family vehicle is usually between a sport utility vehicle (SUV) and a minivan. Both offer flexible passenger and cargo areas, comfortable seating for five to eight persons, and rear-seat entertainment systems.

So, what type of car should you choose? To come up with the right choice, you need to look at how the vehicle’s styling, fuel economy, passenger and cargo space, towing capacity, and safety will suit your family’s needs and lifestyle.

Passenger & Cargo Space - Sport utility vehicles and minivans have comparable passenger and cargo space, but the roomy interiors of a minivan can be a delight to young kids. Unlike SUVs, minivans also have a low step-in height, so they’re easier for kids to climb into. Minivans’ large picture windows afford young passengers a better view of the passing scenery, therefore keeping your impatient young ones amused for a good part of the ride.

Fuel Consumption - Minivans give better mileage than SUVs, which have a reputation for being gas guzzlers. If you want to squeeze more miles out of the gasoline tank, then a minivan would make a more economic choice than an SUV. Other ownership costs, such as maintenance and insurance, also tend to be higher for SUVs than minivans. Unless you’re willing to pay the price for being cool and stylish, the practical minivan is the way to go.

Style - More than a matter of need, a vehicle’s styling is a matter of personal preference. The SUV usually wins out over the minivan when it comes to appearance. With its rugged, sporty styling, an SUV oozes urban cool, unlike the minivan, which is perpetually associated with soccer moms and suburban neighborhood carpools. Most men would recoil at the thought of driving a minivan, so if your husband would be sharing driving duties, you might have to talk it out with him.

Towing Capacity - If you own a boat and like to take the entire brood for weekend sailing retreats, then an SUV would make an appropriate choice. SUVs have superior towing capacities, enabling them to pull practically anything between a trailer and a small boat. Otherwise, if you’re only schlepping groceries and your kid’s soccer team, then there’s no reason to overlook the minivan.

Safety - Although both have comparable safety features, SUVs have a higher rollover risk than minivans. SUV devotees counter this by pointing out that rollovers account for only three percent of all traffic accidents and claiming that SUVs offer excellent passenger protection in two-car collisions. It remains to be seen whether this supposed collision safety factor outweighs the risk of rollovers. If the threat of rollover accidents keeps you awake at night, then a minivan could give you a little peace of mind.

Choosing the perfect spacious car for your family involves carefully evaluating the above features and choosing what’s best for everyone. By doing your homework, you’ll save yourself from ever facing buyer’s remorse when buying your next family car!

How to Uncover the Reason You Can’t Sleep Tonight

Filed under: Psychology Tips + More — admin @ 8:10 am

If you are like me …you love your sleep!

Sleep deprivation has numerous positive but also negative effects. It may break our sleep neurons due to long times of sleeplessness causing malfunction. This will result in bad conduct or bad interaction or bad speech towards others.

Studies also illustrate that people deprived of sleep experience difficulties in thinking imaginative thoughts or terms. Also they suffer difficulties in delivering their declarations well. Without sleep, our brains grow weaker, and our actions and deeds will be affected.

Good sleep promotes regeneration of our system and maintains our good health and immune system function.

Physical and Other Dangers

Lack of sleep also poses dangers to ones body. As we have learned earlier, lack of sleep damages the brain and causes behavioral damages and because our brain controls the other functions in our body, sleep deprivation may also damage them.

It seems that people who lack sleep get sick more often. Also, sleep deprived persons are prone to accidents (particularly car accidents). I have found out in the internet that around 200,000 accidents are caused by sleeping drivers on their sleeping wheels.

The person who experiences sleep deprivation may also suffer financially. Because the brain (again) is affected, the person produces low-quality work. This may cause him to be kicked out of office or fired by his boss.

Sleep deprivation may also affect the person mentally. Studies shows that people who don’t get enough sleep experience difficulties in remembering things and expressing their thoughts creatively.

Researches also suggest that people who lack sleep seem to age quicker than those who get enough sleep. It seems lack of sleep affects you in many ways and you need to take action where you can rather than accept it just happens to everyone.

You could be suffering from depression or anxiety problem of some kind.

Think about events and stresses you have at present from young children crying to horrible work environments. Something is causing this and its not always one factor but can be many.

A proper bedtime routine

Every time before you go to sleep, you listen to your favorite classical tune. Then the day came when you have to go on a business trip and you forgot to bring the classical tape with you. Night comes and you simply could not get yourself to sleep without listening to that music first. That classical melody is the anchor. It signals your brain to prepare for dreamland.

Anchors could be a very powerful instrument to put you to sleep. Some people could not get to sleep without having a midnight snack. Having a light snack may have a sedative effect and is not bad at all. But eating too much before going to slumber may affect the quality of your sleep.

There are certain anchors that you do not want to be associated with sleep. Avoid watching TV in bed, because it can stimulate your senses. Do not make your bedroom an office, because you might associate your work with sleeping time. As a general rule, your bedroom is designed only for sleep.

Researchers prove that using an alarm clock to wake you up is not good. They say that alarm clocks used to wake people disrupt the sleep cycle and keeps the sleeper from having a complete, natural, and high quality sleep. The use of alarm clock also promotes sleep problems for the following days.

Don’t take naps if you have sleep problems.Just go to bed when you feel tired.A nice warm shower can relieve stress and relax your system.

Couple that with low light and some soothing music, and you’ll feel much better when you go to sleep. You may even add some herbs like lavender, chamomile, or passion flower for a more pleasant experience.

Finally, just try and stand back and look at your present life circumstances and ask yourself are you content or feel stressed.
Stress is bad for your body long term and you may have symptoms of depressive illness.

Back pain, joint pain, knee pain, arthritis and a host of ot

Filed under: Health Center — admin @ 6:51 am

“The smallest pain in our little finger gives us more concern than the destruction of millions of our fellow beings.” William Hazlitt [1778-1830. British Essayist]

If “The smallest pain in our little finger gives us more concern…” then what happens when we have back, knee or joint pain?

Did you know that
- 80% of Americans will battle with back pain at some point in their lives?
- 7 million people are treated for back pain every year?
- 2 million new cases of back pain are opened every year?
- $100 billion is being spent annually in medical bills, disability and lost productivity at work?

Pain and Pain Relief is of utmost concern for most of us that are in constant pain.

Why are we in Pain?

Before we can answer this question, we need to understand how the body interprets and handles pain. The pain impulse begins at the point of an injury for example a cut, burn, pinched nerve, bruised muscle etc.

Once the impulse starts, it triggers a number of bio-chemicals to be released at the site of the injury. Some of these bio-chemicals are histamine, bradykinin, prostaglandin, and Substance P. Each of these has one or more effects on the body. And many of these bio-chemicals are inflammatory — that is they cause the injury site to swell up.

Inflammation is actually a defense mechanism for the body. Inflammation serves to bathe the injury in healing fluids and acts as a cushion to protect against further injury. However. if the inflammation is prolonged or out of control, it can cause destruction. This is what occurs in arthritis where the inflammation actually destroys the joints. Also, inflammation can serve to compound problems by actually causing pain itself.

This explains how an injury causes the body to release a number of biochemicals that can cause inflammation. Another action of these biochemicals, though, is to stimulate the nerve fibers of pain, the C fibers. (The body actually has three types of nerve fibers: A fibers. B fibers and C fibers. The main fibers which transmit the pain impulse are the C fibers.) Histamine, bradykinin, prostaglandins and the other bio-chemicals are actually the stimuli that cause the pain impulse to begin.

Types of Pain Relief

At the site of an injury, whether the problem is pain or inflammation, the pain impulse can be interrupted by:
“Decreasing the levels of the “pain” bio-chemicals or
“by blocking the nerves of pain - the C fibers.

With that in mind, it would make sense to use a painkiller that can do both of these. Aspirin and NSAIDS (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), such as ibuprofen and Motrin decrease the prostaglandins. This can result in decreased pain and inflammation, especially if the prostaglandins are the main causes.

However, aspirin and NSAIDS do not directly affect the other pain chemicals and do not affect the pain nerve, the C fiber.

Narcotics, such as Darvon or codeine, have no known effect on either the “pain” bio-chemicals or the pain nerves. Acetaminophen (Tylenol) also has no significant effect on these at usual doses. And in fact, the way acetaminophen works is not actually known.

But we also know we can interrupt the pain impulse away from the injury site, at the spinal cord. If our pain killer could also decrease the release of (or deplete the C fiber of) Substance P, the pain impulse would be blocked at the spinal cord level. Aspirin and NSAIDS have no known effect at this site. Narcotics and tricyclic antidepressants, such as amitriptylene or Elavil, on the other hand, actually can block the release of Substance P and stop transmission at the spinal cord level, but once again have no value in decreasing the levels of the bio-chemicals of pain.

This new totally natural remedy does it all by providing the relief you need without using drugs and other traditional methods of pain relief:

- Decreases the levels of the “pain” bio-chemicals.
- Blocks the release of Substance P, thus slowing down the transmission of the pain impulse along the nerves of pain, the C fibers.
- And slows down transmission of pain along the spinal cord.
