My favorite episode of “The Twilight Zone” is one where aliens arrive on earth and are recruiting people to come back with them to their home planet. They treat the humans with great respect and they have have a book that they keep referring to called, “To Serve Man”. Many of the earthlings are captivated with the space men, who seem to be treating them like gods, with the goal to deliver them their greatest desires.
Some however are skeptical of the whole situation. While crowds are lining up to go with the aliens, expecting to be worshiped, others doubt that the motivation of the space travelers. Just has hundreds leave on the space ship to be taken into space, one of the humans runs out with a look of horror on his face. He has just finished translating “To Serve Man”. He screams; “STOP….IT’S A COOKBOOK !!!!”.
If you want to build a successful network of contacts that will lead to referrals and more business, you must go out of your way to “serve” others. Finding ways to selflessly help them will lead to others helping you. But your motivation must be sincere. If you are just doing it to get something in return, eventually someone will figure it out and expose you as a fraud. Your plan cannot be to devour the others.
In my book, “Some Assembly Required: How to Make, Keep and Grow Your Business Relationships” (New Year Publishing 2005, available at www.thomsinger.com), I talk about the “pork chop man”. This guy is always out networking. Every time he sees a potential client, it is as if that person has a pork chop around their neck and he is a hungry wolf. Once he gets the business, or discovers the prospect is not really a prospect, he drops them and moves on. His motivation is not really to build a network based on mutual benefits….. it is to get business for himself.
To succeed at networking your motives have to be about mutual success, not just your own.

Some couples do not believe in marriage guidance as they think that marriage should be a private relationship. They do not understand that marriage guidance is there to help with any situation.
Marriage guidance is totally confidential and information is never disclosed to anyone. Marriage guidance is there to help anyone who has a marriage problem whether big or small. Some couples say that they would be too embarrassed to disclose personal problems to a complete stranger. That is why marriage guidance exists. For if you went to family or friends with a marriage problem they could possible take sides. Marriage guidance staff are fully trained and qualified and because they do not know you they cannot be biased. Marriage guidance have so much experience in their subject that they have heard everything all before so nothing will be embarrassing.
Marriage guidance may often come up with some very good suggestions that you could both try and this could help to resolve your problems. Marriage guidance act as a guide for the both of you and may be able to set your marriage back on course. Once you both see that there are many different ways to try and solve problems you are both then more motivated to make an effort to resolve your own situation. It is well worth persevering with marriage guidance no matter how many appointments you attend. If you adopt a more relaxed laid back attitude towards meetings then you will be able to concentrate and have more patience to negotiate matters.
Marriage guidance meetings are set up all over the country and you only need to contact your local centre to arrange an appointment. Surely it would be better to go to a marriage guidance meeting rather than see your marriage spiral out of control.
Many marriages can be recovered from difficult situations. If both of you want to mend a broken marriage as much as each other then marriage guidance would suit you. Many couples who seek marriage guidance and put into practice what suggestions were made to them, do often achieve their goal and bring back their marriage to a much happier one. Everything has to be worked at to receive benefits and marriage can be and should be very fruitful when shared. Hopes and dreams are also what marriages are made of and building a life together can be and should be so rewarding. Life is too short to be burdened with problems.
Divorce and separation procedures are so easy to start these days for even for the silliest of reasons. Why do couples decide to split and consider their marriage a failure so readily? Jenny Clair is the editor of Marriage-Divorce-Separation.com an article based web site exploring the human side of marriage breakdowns, divorce and separation situations.

What do most website owners want for their online business?
1. Increase sales
2. Make more money
3. Attract more customers
You can achieve these goals. How? By constantly testing. For
example: Do you have a compelling benefit headline on your web
site? If not, chances are your website will not make a lot of
money.
So it’s to your advantage to test different headlines. By
changing headlines, you can increase your sales dramatically.
What website owners don’t understand is this: If you don’t get
visitors attention, they will leave your site. And you lose
sales to competition.
Remember web surfers have very short attention spans. There are
many websites that use no headlines. Big mistake. It’s like
scanning a newspaper with no headlines. Why should they buy from
you?
There are about 350 million web sites on the Internet. If you
want to make money, you have to get their attention.
Your sales message should be loaded with benefits and power
words. Before adding your sales message, you should make a list
of what’s in it for your customers. Or what’s in it for me list.
If you are selling a product or a service, this is not about
you. It’s for the buyer. Tell them why they should buy from you.
Many Internet marketers disagree with using a sales message.
They’ll tell you it’s different on the Internet. Don’t use a
compelling sales message. Just use information. If you’re not
selling anything, that’s great. Listen, sales is not a dirty
word. What your sales message should do is help your buyer
rationalize, why they have to have it. Help them make the
decision to buy.
Some people have a negative image of sales people. But you know,
the economy would be in sad shape without someone to help them
make a decision. To answer questions. Help them understand the
product. Give great service, and handle problems.
The sad truth is many Internet marketers don’t understand the
selling process. It’s just their perception of the person
selling the product. All people in sales are slick talkers.
That’s not always true. Professionals care about their buyers,
and want repeat business.
The sales message on your website is your salesperson. If that
message is weak in the selling process, so will your sales. You
have to ask for the order or you won’t get it.
Do you have testimonials, bonuses, and a guarantee in your
website sales message?
The testimonials are creditability builders. And should be
placed in areas where they help make your sales points.
Are free bonuses or gifts offered as an incentive to buy? This
is a must!! You should offer 1-5 bonus gifts for free. Watch
your sales increase. If you offer no bonus gifts, you are
hurting your web business.
You must also offer a guarantee that removes the risk. This will
help eliminate buyer fear. If the guarantee says you can return
it in 30 days and receive a full refund no questions asked, why
wouldn’t they take a chance?
The close or call to action must create a sense of urgency to
buy now. Such as: price good for 10 days only. Or this is your
last chance to buy, almost out of stock.
If you’ll add these selling techniques to your web site. Test
the ones that work best. You’ll see your sales increase
dramatically.

It has been 40 years since England last lifted the World Cup in our one and only triumph. The team of that day contriving the Charlton brothers, Jeff Hurst, Alan Ball, Bobby Moore and the rest of the lads has been immortalized in history, with the achievement held close to the hearts of football fans across the country.
That victory against West Germany though has stood as a high point in a mostly underachieving half-century. Italia ’90 saw us progress right through to the semis only to be knocked out on penalties, penalties again saw us defeated on home soil in Euro ’96. The World Cups of 1998 and 2002 have seen us progress well but meeting unfortunate fates in the final stages.
This World Cup however has entailed fresh hope and optimism not seen for half a century. With many of our players matching and in some cases outperforming many of the foreign stars in our league, and their achievements being recognized by the likes of EUFA in their award ceremonies, the optimism this time round has a sense of basis in our having a genuine chance or success.
This optimism has been carrying right through this season unhinded until the tragic Wayne Rooney injury on the last day of the season. Waybe who would see his inclusion in any other national team in the world and seen to be the player who can make our World Cup dreams possible with his attacking power was tragically diagnosed with a broken Metatarsal. With 6 weeks put on his recovery time and just 6 weeks to the beginning of the World Cup, the optimism seen previously was replaced with disappointment.
In the few weeks since though the reports coming from Rooney and his medical staff seem to be good, and he well now might play a role in the latter stages of the competition. If though this isn’t to materialize then the magnificent attacking displays of Gerard this season could see him being given an advanced role in Rooney’s position, where-by in doing so the thinking is we will not lose any of the cutting edge we need to progress all the way.
Whether Rooney makes it to Germany or not we still have one of the best squads in the world and our chances are just as much as a number of other teams. Whether without him we will have the X factor needed to reign supreme over such teams as Brazil, Argentina, Germany or France, is yet to be seen.
Whatever happens on the injury front though I will certainly still be hanging my England flag out the window with a sense of optimism that this could be the year.

In Eau Claire, Wisconsin, Ken Hasenmueller says he plans to trade in the license plate assigned to him at random for his Oldsmobile Cutlass: “666-KEN.” He says at first he thought it was interesting. Now he fears people will think he’s a Satanist.
The association between the number 666 and Satan comes from Revelation 13:18: “This calls for wisdom. If anyone has insight, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is a man’s number. His number is 666.” Through the centuries, a great deal of superstition–let’s call it what it really is–has attached itself to the numeral, so that people are as uneasy about being associated with it as they are about working in an office building on the 13th floor.
This superstition reached what was perhaps its high-water mark with the 1981 publication of When Your Money Fails by Mary Steward Relfe (Montgomery, AL: Ministries, Inc.). Relfe documents dozens of occurrences of the number 666 attached to a seemingly random list of objects, including dress shirts, credit cards, license plates, Egyptian warships, Treasury Department badges, Israeli telephone prefixes, charge accounts, and so on. Relfe states (59): “I unreservedly view the international usage of the number ‘666′ by the present World System, to be presided over soon by Mr. 666, the False Messiah, as the Third Most Significant Fulfillment of Bible Prophecy in the Church Age (the past 2000 years).”
This is one example of what passes for biblical exegesis, and it makes me shudder. Just think about it! If you were reading an old newspaper and came across this statement, “I won’t mention any names, but the man who is tearing our nation apart has the initials of A.L.,” would you immediately conclude that someone with the same initials is about to tear America asunder in our day? Would the place the newspaper was published make any difference? What about the year of publication?
No doubt similar kinds of statements appeared in newspapers across the southern states of the U.S. in the fall of 1860 and the early spring of 1861. The initials, of course, belonged to Abraham Lincoln. If someone thought the statement was about to be fulfilled now, you might point out the circumstances under which it was written, just before the Civil War (what the editorialist would have called the “War of Northern Agression”).
You might also point out the grammar of the sentence in question. He “is tearing” (present tense), and “he has” (also present tense). Now, more than 100 years later, those present tenses do not still stand.
Now look again at Revelation 13:18, “This calls for wisdom”–present tense, not “This will call for wisdom.” “If anyone has insight”–present tense, not “…will have insight.” The phrases, “Let him calculate,” and “it is man’s number,” and “His number is 666,” are all in present tense. I ask, present for whom? The answer would have to be the same in interpreting Revelation 13:18 as in interpreting the 1859 Richmond editorial: present for the original readers. We have to interpret it as past tense for modern readers.
But, you say, Revelation is a prophecy about the end times, so we would have to project those present tenses more than 2000 years into the future. I know you assume that, but are you sure? This reasoning might be true within a vision, where the tenses are relative, but Revelation 13:18 is not part of the vision but part of the explanation. It’s the part where the author says, “That’s what I saw. Now let me tell you what it means.” Tenses are vital in understanding the explanation parts of Revelation.
For more confirmation that we are taking the right approach, take a look at the opening verses of Revelation, and take seriously what you find there: “The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place…. The time is near” (Revelation 1:1, 3). The book is not in the vision part but is busy explaining what the time frame is for the prophecy. We should take it quite literally: at the time Revelation was written its events were just about to happen.
So that there could be no mistake, Revelation closes by stating the same time-frame: “…to show his servants what must soon take place… the time is near” (Revelation 22:6, 10). These statements form bookends, two at the beginning of the Apocalypse and two at the end. They should not be ignored, as they usually are, but should be taken seriously. Perhaps, not all of Revelation’s predictions are past to us, but certainly most of them are. The “bookends” convince me that we should assume a prediction in Revelation has a fulfillment that is in our past unless we have a strong reason from the text to believe otherwise.
That suggests that the original readers, those with wisdom, should have been able to calculate the meaning of who 666 referred to. When we remember that in both Hebrew and Greek the letters had numerical value and that people could refer to an event or a person’s name by stating the number that was the sum of its letters, we are probably moving toward a first-century solution to 666.
The problem, as you might imagine, is that any number of names, descriptions, or series of abbreviations equal the same sum, identifying, for example, Gaius Caligula, Nero, Vespasian, and Domitian if an emperor is intended (the two most likely are Nero and Domitian). Descriptions include “titan” and “latin,” among others. Just because we cannot say for certain which is correct does not mean we should turn to any of the modern solutions, which include Adolf Hitler, Henry Kissinger, Ronald Reagan, Bill Gates, and Barney the Purple Dinosaur, among many others.
I find Mr. Hasenmueller’s objection to his license plate perfectly understandable. It’s not a matter of superstition. He’s just trying to avoid miscommunicating. It seems wrong exegesis, combined with 2000 years of association with the diabolical that has made triple-6 taboo. Reject it if you wish, but understand that it has no power over you–magical, diabolical, or otherwise. It is a label belonging to a man who once long ago persecuted the faithful people of God, but who learned that he, too, was only a mortal.

We have seen in our previous topic, how to increase your traffic.
In some circumstances, you may need to increase your traffic immediately or to boost it in order to spread a new product or an offer or or simply to implement your viral marketing.
Well there is 3 easy to do that and we will explain them now.
You can:
Buy targeted traffic to your site,
email to your list,
or make a Joint Venture(JV).
To buy fast and immediate traffic, you will need to go to google or one of the other alternatives like overture from yahoo..
You may need to know how to use google adwords first, there is excellent ebooks on this subject, that will save you a lot of money, and avoid your ad to be deactivated.
That type or advertising is called Pay Per Click advertising. You will set a daily budget for your campaign, and you will only pay when some one make a click on your link
You will be able to see your ad on the right table of the page, when you search for specific keywords.
You will need to track your campaign.
For example, you can buy 3 different advertising sources, pay the same price for each, then track with a software which advertising gives you more results.
Then go on, like that you will save your money.
The second way is to email to your list.
You must understand the sale process. In a nutshell, visitors are surfing they fall on your site, but they probably won’ t come back except if you offer them an incentive, or newsletter, something that will bring them back:
You can send a promotional email, twice a month or once
Send valuable information between the promotional offer.
The last tip for immediate traffic is Joint Venture.
You have to get other websites to send email to their list, place your link on their website, and you will pay them only when they process a sale.
Pay them 50% or more.
And make the sale easy for them, prepare for them the subject and body of the emails, prepare the affiliate link they will put on their websites, and any other material you can use.
And who knows, you will maybe find some good friends out there.

How Boxers Work With the Family
Boxers are very family-oriented and always love to be around people. Treat them as family members. Never underestimate their need for human companionship, which is the most notable trait of this breed.
The Boxer is happiest when it is with people. Its whole pelvis moves when a Boxer wags its tail in delight and exhilaration. It can adapt to any environment as long as it is with people.
They love being with their “families” and don’t like to be alone. Include them in your gatherings when company is around.
They love to be your shadow. Boxers are intelligent and are quite capable of participating in many family adventures.
Boxer dogs are like humans and they need lots of love to feel like a part of the family.
Accept them for what they are and give them time to show how loyal they could be. They are very sensitive animals so never hit them.
Boxers and Kids
Boxers are gentle with children. Boxers love to play and are always ready for a romp or game, so make sure you have kids, said one owner.
Introduce the Boxer to the children early, as this will bond Boxer and child and stop jealousy. You will find the Boxer will be more protective towards that child.
Some owners found their Boxers love to be around children more than adults.
They are good-natured, accept friendly strangers and will calmly suffer the pokes and prods of children.
Boxers are also accepting toward other family pets.
One owner said: “My girl Boxer is wonderful to my daughterÆs little half-rat terrier puppy. She lets the very hyper puppy do whatever to her and they sleep together.”

A passionate heart termed it ‘Bingo’
Just seconds, that was what they were left with. The players stood amidst the growing sense that there was just one among them who could survive. Yes, I’d rather say survive, as the heated urgency with which men and women engaged themselves to go play the best slots, to mark their grid and to form the sequence, all reflected the pure passion that the game of Bingo had to offer. And then there was a call, Bingo! The voice that marked the dissonance in the efforts of people who tried in vain to spot their grid with each opening of the slot. And that name had in it the history of a passionate heart calling out Bingo rather than beano, which was its initial identify. Now the popular Bingo has emerged as the best game of chances, able to prefix your name with a handsome sum of money.
Online bet enormity
Far from the world of casinos, away, yonder in any cave, with the web accessible, let it be made clear; you are never far from the game of Bingo. So, for those who are used to the lottery online, the fact has to be put forward that Bingo after all forms the basis of these games. How? Just like the Bingo cards that you are given to play with in the club, tickets are sold for the online version for which you get a receipt. With each slot drawn, you are to form the sequence in the ticket and the resulting winner takes his price. That’s how online Bingo works and well does it work indeed without the Bingo cards. What to watch for when each time the slots is taken online is the enormity of the bet that you have at hand.
Fetching a fortune
The affair at hand has the momentum worthy to fetch you a fortune; that’s the guarantee of Bingo. The relation blooms and the chill of victory blossoms amidst the chaos that reflects with the tension mounding up under the calls. And that’s exactly the reason why Bingo online gains popularity. Each time the caller makes the call, you are made to go one step ahead to earn the treasure. We, however, would recommend the game for only the brave at heart; this is an absolute ‘no’ for the souls that are bereft of the last strings of courage. Tough men play the game tough and the speedster uses his ultimate strength; there starts Bingo, there start the battle, the slot has been arranged; would you like to call Bingo?

I have had 2 incidents come to my attention in the last few days that have reminded me how important Humility is.
A colleague shared about going to another hypnotherapist for some help and the hypnotherapist tried to dictate what her problem was and only became more insistent when my friend objected.
A client who was horribly abused as a child objected vehemently when I asked if he wanted to connect with that part of his psyche still acting as if it was the child. To my surprise, he said, “No way! I hate him.”
These to incidents highlighted for me the ways in which we attack ourself or another because of the arrogance of thinking our view is the true and only view.
One of my spiritual teachers has said that Humility is Compassion towards oneself.
This made sense to me when I realized that it is a kindness to myself to reject fearful thoughts whose essential message is that I’m not good enough, or strong enough, or smart enough, or lacking in some other way.
Seeing this, it became clear that Humility is the source of true
strength. True strength enables us to reject fear and the temptation to act on fear which usually means to commit some form of violence against ourself or someone else.
Fear always has an arrogant aspect to it, whether active against
others, or passive against oneself. It is a refusal to connect with or to share with — a complete lack of generosity.
I find that thinking about a problem as being just a problem of fear makes it easy for me to indulge it. If I look to see how the presence of fear indicates that I am being arrogant and mean-spirited, it is much harder for me to allow the fearful state to keep my interest. For me, the thought of being arrogant or mean burns and inspires me to find a greater clarity and openness of heart.
It helps to open to Humility as the antidote to the arrogance if I understand that humility is not meekness but kindness to myself. It is a kindness to open to my true relationship with life rather than persist in my fearful fantasy.
Try opening to Humility by simply stopping for 30 seconds, and
stretching your arms out and up towards the sky and breathing in fully and gently. Imagine how you would feel at the end of the day if you took this break to open and breathe every 30 minutes, or every hour, or every time you noticed yourself getting tense. Go beyond imagining — do it and discover the power of Humility. Can you be this generous with yourself? Good luck!

Whenever I see people who are out-of-shape, I wonder whether they are uninformed or they just don’t care. Even eighty- and ninety-year-olds should be able lift weights, cycle long distances and compete in athletic competitions. Yet most people are in pathetic shape and suffer the consequences.
An expert group appointed by the International Agency for Research on Cancer of the World Health Organization met in Lyon, France to evaluate the evidence for the role of weight control and physical activity in preventing cancer, and to identify priorities for research and for public health action in relation to the primary prevention of cancer. They concluded that limiting weight gain during adult life, thereby avoiding overweight and obesity, reduces the risk of postmenopausal breast cancer and cancers of the colon, endometrium, kidney (renal cell) and esophagus (adenocarcinoma). Limiting weight gain also possibly reduced risk of cancer of the thyroid.
The working group also concluded that there was sufficient evidence for the role of physical activity in preventing colon and breast cancers, and limited evidence for the cancers of the prostate and endometrium. Taken together, the working group concluded that excess body weight and physical inactivity account for approximately a quarter to one-third of cancers of the colon, breast, endometrium, kidney (renal cell) and esophagus (adenocarcinoma). Thus being fat and out of shape appear to be the most important avoidable causes of these cancers.
Weight loss among overweight or obese persons possibly reduces risks of these cancers, and we know that it reduces heart attacks, strokes and diabetes. If you have been gaining a few pounds each year, it’s now time for you to start an exercise program and stop setting yourself up for cancer, heart attacks and diabetes.
