Internet Faxing A to Z: learn more about fax to email technology

Filed under: The Information Way — admin @ 7:48 pm

Simple guide in sending fax through Internet: learn more about
Email faxing

There is lots of Internet faxing services that enable you to
send your faxes through the Internet. It is a type of online
services that provide subscribers with the ability to send and
receive faxes without a fax machine. Instead, Internet access
and an email account are all the necessary. Internet faxes are
received or sent in form of email attachments or normal fax
machine copies. Some of these Internet faxing services are free
while others require you to pay a certain amount of money on a
monthly basis. Some of the examples of Internet faxing services
includes: eFax, Call Wave
Internet faxing, Green Fax, Trust Fax, Fax it Nice, Fax
Mate, Inter Fax, Air Com email fax, and My Fax.

How
Internet fax normally works?

To send an Internet fax, the subscriber creates an email
account. The fax content can be written in the body of the
email, and attachments are normally permitted. The destination
fax number is entered in the ‘To’ field, along with the
Internet fax service name (efax for example). For example, if
the fax number were 1-555-234-5678, the email would be addressed
to 15552345678@efax.com. In the subject·field, user will
need to input the recipient name, for example: Attn: Mr. Fax.

Receiving Internet faxes is easy; you do not need to be
familiar with faxing software nor fax machines neither to use
the Internet faxing interface. Normally, the email faxing
services will install a small tools (toolbar or window box) into
your PC as a plug-in inside the email program. Upon receipt, an
automated program converts the email to a fax format, then faxes
to the number supplied in the fax-header. The recipient receives
the fax normally, through fax machine.

Why Internet fax?

There are numerous reasons to start implementing Internet faxing
services in your business or personal usage. If you have ever
owned a fax machine then you can understand how frustrating it
is when it jams, cuts off page text, stops in the middle of a
transmission, or the receiving machine is constantly busy or out
of paper. Eventually you might ruin your own business because of
all those communication troubles caused by the traditional fax
machines. Life with Internet faxing (or sometimes known as email
faxing) will be much easier- 24 hours ready, no more engage
tones, and no more paper jamming. Faxes will always sent out and
arrived smoothly via your email account.

Perhaps you have never owned a fax machine because of the
initial investment and ongoing maintenance was far too costly.
Think about it — the cost of the machine, the installation of
a separate phone line to avoid conflicts with your answering
machine, and the ongoing cost of replacement toner cartridges.
With the invention of eFax services, now you never have to worry
about these headaches with the soon-to-be extinct fax machine
device.

Some get Internet faxing services because of their additional
advantages. Let’s take eFax (owned by J2 Communication) for
example. They are offering more than just Internet faxing
solutions nowadays. With the recent introduction on their new
product: eVoice, you can even get voice messages sent to your
email accounts or forward it into your private number. With
eVoice, even the smallest of businesses can benefit with a
professional answering service today and save costs on answering
machine and extra phone lines.

Wrapping things up, Internet services are one of the online
services that can beneficial greatly to your business or
personal expenses. However in order to get the best from it, one
must be careful and review more on the faxing services that’s
available in the market. Different Internet faxing packages are
meant for different categories of users. If you only need to
receive faxes, you can try out eFax Free
which will cost you nothing; if you send faxes frequently and
needs a toll-free number for your business, eFax Plus
might be something you want to look at. If you are always on the
road and need to send email faxes via mobile portal, Call Wave
faxing services is recommended.

Learn more about the services details when you are shopping for
the right Internet faxing services: the reputation and customer
feedbacks on the services, the ability to send to more than one
fax number at a time, the faxing page capacity, the send/receive
page amount-limit and the hidden cost of sending extra faxes are
some factors that you do not want to miss out. Get more info

Selecting an Online University

Filed under: Education + Training — admin @ 7:39 pm

People who want higher education but who don’t live near a college or university offering courses they want used to be out of luck. No more. Now it is possible to study almost any subject online. It may require more self-discipline to pursue a degree this way. However, students at online universities can attend classes at their convenience, making it possible to earn a living at the same time as earning a degree.

What to look for

There are now many online universities. Some online degree programs are offered by traditional universities with campuses, while others only exist in cyberspace. Selecting the right school and being sure your degree will be recognized by potential employers is the first step. How can you tell whether a program is a real educational experience or a diploma mill? Here are some things to find out before signing up.

Look for a university with accreditation from a recognized accrediting organization. This is important because it means the school meets established standards of quality. Well-known universities like the University of Florida, Northwestern, Purdue and Notre Dame are examples of accredited institutions. The U.S. Department of Education recognizes universities accredited by one of the six accrediting bodies. Students who attend accredited universities are usually eligible for federal student loans and the course credits they earn generally transfer to other accredited institutions.

Picking a degree program

To determine if a degree program fits your professional and personal interests, review the curriculum and course descriptions in university web sites and course catalogs. Do they offer courses in subjects of interest to you?

To learn more about whether a program might be good for you, ask about the faculty’s industry experience and the scope and focus of their research. Do they have the appropriate advanced degrees for what they teach? Find out where the professors got their degrees. If all or most of them graduated from the same online university you are considering, this is a red flag, suggesting their academic credentials are weak. A real university will have teachers who have graduated from many different schools.

How students apply what they learn to their fields of expertise and to their communities are also strong indicators of a program’s value. Ask what employers, organizations and professional associations partner with or support the university. Talk to someone at the university and explain your educational goals and career plans. Whether you wish to advance your career, change careers, make a contribution to society or become more expert in your field, be sure the program you choose will get you there. One way to find out is to learn how the university’s alumni are doing. Alumni success or lack of it reflects the quality of a university and its programs. Ask for examples of how alumni are using the knowledge they gained in their professional and personal lives.

If the university accepts everyone who applies and can afford the cost, be suspicious. A real university will require each student to meet appropriate admissions requirements.

Online teaching is different

Make sure any online universities you are considering know how to deliver and support online courses and that you have the technology you need to take them. Do the faculty members know how to guide the classroom experience to ensure learning objectives are achieved? Are your computer and Internet connection up to the task? Assignments are typically posted online and discussions take place as threaded postings. Most online courses require students to log in and contribute to discussions a certain number of times each week. Many courses let you log in any time, anywhere as long as you meet the weekly course requirements.

What type of student support services are available? How responsive are instructors to student inquiries? What opportunities are there to interact with fellow students? This interaction enables students to gain knowledge and understanding from others with a wide variety of geographic, cultural and professional perspectives. The most effective courses, especially for adult learners with years of work experience, are those in which students gain the insights and perspectives of everyone in the class.

Can you afford it?

Though attending an online university allows you to live where you do currently so you won’t pay anything extra for living expenses while you study, there will be charges for books, tuition and fees. Find out what other expenses there will be, if any, to be sure you can afford your studies. Ask if financial aid is available, as some schools offer it to online learners.

Note that tuition and fees at online universities are often higher than what is charged at their campus-based counterparts. However, these schools offer personalized support and a convenient and flexible format geared for the adult learner. If a university’s tuition and fees are significantly less expensive than other online schools, double check on its accreditation to be sure it is legitimate.

Organization is Key to Successful Fishing

Filed under: Angling — admin @ 7:37 pm

Talk to a professional angler like Kevin Schweder(2003 PWT Rookie of the Year), and you will quickly find out that organization is a major part of their game plan. Keeping rods and equipment organized provides many advantages, not the least of which is allowing the angler to spend more time fishing.

Loose rods can be a real hassle on the water. Besides taking up premium boat space, they are also more likely to get broken tips or have tangled line. And it’s not much fun untangling rods on a hot August day, or losing you favorite rod to a broken tip. Ideally, rods should be kept upright in the boat in a secure holder. Protect your rods from scuffs and wear by using rod holders that feature foam locking rings. Keeping all your rods in a central location provides quick and easy access to your arsenal. But keep in mind that a rod holder that will quickly and easily move to different areas of the boat can be a real asset. A quality rod holder will allow an angler to keep his rods safe yet accessible from anywhere on the boat.

An angler may also save time by rigging his favorite presentations before even getting on the water. Keeping different rods and presentations ready at all times allows a fisherman to easily change technique at any moment. An angler in the hunt for walleye for example, may want to have a 7 foot rod set up with a favorite rigging presentation while also having his 6 foot rod set up for jigging. To save more time he may also want to set up his favorite presentations for trolling. This is especially critical when time is a factor, as with tournament situations, but can save alot of time for any angler. Be sure to look for a heavy duty rod holder that can safely handle more than one or two rods. A rod holder that can accomodate up to 8 rods is your best bet.

With the average angler owning more than six rods, storage and transport can present a real problem. Making the transition from storage to pick-up to boat is often time consuming and frustrating. An ideal rod holder will accomodate all these situations. Look for a rod holder that easily converts from a holder while in the boat, to a safe way to transport and store your rods out of the boat. Kevin Schweder suggests a rod holder such as the Rod Wrangler by Cornerstone Manufacturing. “Simply put, the Rod Wrangler makes organization and transportation of rods and reels simple, so I can spend more time fishing.” And really, isn’t that what it’s all about?

Xbox 360 Shortage Coming To An End

Filed under: Gaming Hall — admin @ 11:38 am

It looks like the Xbox 360 shortage may finally be coming to and end. During his DICE appearance, Peter Moore said, “Within the next four to six weeks, anybody will be able to walk into a store and buy an Xbox 360.”

Even here in Canada the 360 shortage seems to be much better with places like EB Games “almost” caught up to preorders.

“All of our pre-orders taken before charismas have now been honored, and as of right now, we only have 1 or 2 people on our list.” Commented one EB Games employee in Ontario.

Online retailers like Amazon now seem to have Xbox 360 bundles in stock on a somewhat regular basis. Though most 360’s are sold in bundles priced at $899 and up.

EBay auctions have calmed down considerably over the past few weeks. It is expected that within the next few weeks, you might even be able to find a new 360 for less than retail. Before Christaas, it was not uncommon to find Xbox 360’s selling for well over $2,000(USD).

Microsoft is hoping to sell 4.5 to 5-million Xbox 360’s by the end of June. With shortages all but under control, it will be interesting to see if that number can actually be reached.

A Proven 10 Step Method To Achieve Your Dreams And Goals

Filed under: Management Portal — admin @ 11:29 am

Goals and Challenges and the 10 Step Method.

WRITE Down your Dreams and Goals.

Why would you write down your goals?

People may say, “Well, I don’t have to write down my goals, I know what they are.”

The main reason to write down your Dreams and Goals is that the percentage of accomplishing them soars. When you have your goals in your mind, that’s where they are, stuck in your mind. Actually, your goals and your dreams come from your heart and then to your mind. Science has theories about the heart/mind connection. When your dreams and goals are in your mind, you haven’t made a physical link to achieving those ideas, Dreams or Goals. When you write your goals and dreams down you have made a physical link to the outside world, you are doing something physical by putting them down on paper. You are bringing them from inside of yourself to the outside and into the real world. People refer to this as the inner and the outer.

Scientifically, you are creating neural pathways within your mind. These neural pathways are created and enable channels to form in your mind. The neural synapse fire off and travel faster and faster within your brain making roadways for the ideas to flow. It’s like building muscles. You’re essentially building the muscles or the neurons in your brain to achieve your goals. Once they’re set up, opportunities will be recognized faster by your mind. You can see and grasp them because your mind is ready to accept them.

Challenges

Welcome challenges. Get up every day and look for the gifts that
are going to come to you during the day. That will start your day on an upbeat. Everyday when you wake-up, it is a gift from your Creator. You start your day on a positive note to begin with by opening your eyes. Challenges may come up during the day and I don’t want to minimize those at all. You can make them work for you as well. Here is a method that works.

A 10 Step Method to achieve your Goals

Here is a plan that I’ve used all my life. A world famous minister used this method. When a challenge or a problem would come up, he would think of at least ten ways to solve that problem. Start a brainstorming session with yourself and write down on paper, ten ways to solve that problem. Your answers can be as ridiculous as you want them to be because one of them may be the one that works.

An example of this is when a famous minister needed a million dollars for his church ministry. How could he accomplish this goal? Of course, the first way would be to have someone give him a million dollars. He also wrote down, get a million people to give him one dollar. This preacher wrote down the other 8 options that he thought of that would solve the task.

This plan solved his challenge. Over time, the minister achieved all 10 of his action brainstorming plans for a total of ten million dollars.

Come up with ten ways to solve any problem. Look for the challenges that come up and the ways to solve them. Write them all down. When the challenges come up and they will, it’s such a blessing to have worked through them. You have already been through them on paper with the brainstorming session.

Challenges are doors that open up to new opportunities.

The History of Pearls

Filed under: Misc Infos — admin @ 10:43 am

Pearls have a rich and vibrant history, dating back to ancient
times when heroic divers would brave the ocean’s depths to bring
to the water’s surface these treasures of the deep. The pearl
itself is known far and wide as the “Queen of Gems,” so it is no
surprise that these glowing orbs have cemented their favor with
queens, kings, and royal families since the dawn of time. A look
back at ancient artwork, mosaics, and even sculptures show
pearls adorning necklaces, crowns, collars, earrings, and robes.

India is believed to be the home of the initial discovery of the
pearl. A tribe of fish eating peoples are believed to have
stumbled across the oyster and found an oyster inside with the
meat. This tribe praised the beauty and luster of the pearl and
soon began harvesting the gems.

Pearls made their mark on the land of China as well, with lesser
kings gifting pearl necklaces to kings with more power as a
token of good will. Often, these pearls were of the fresh water
variety and looked at with disdain due to the irregularity of
the shape.

The ancient Romans and Egyptians prized pearls over the other
gemstones, perhaps due to its eerie similarity to the moon. One
favorite story about pearls involves the legendary Egyptian
queen Cleopatra and her Roman lover Marc Antony. In order to
convince Antony of her country’s wealth and power over the Roman
Empire, Cleopatra bet the erstwhile Roman she could provide the
most costly banquet in history. Before a goblet of wine, she
dissolved a large pearl from a pair of earrings and drank the
remnants. Antony declined the matching pearl, proving her point
and entering the infamous queen yet again into common folklore.

Pearls play a large part in the major religions of the world.
Arabian royalty loved pearls to the point they used the orbs to
decorate the Koran, their religious text. In addition to
decorating the outside of the books, the Koran is filled with
passages including pearls in the text. Similarly, Christians
included parables and text about pearls in their religious text,
the Bible. In Hinduism, the god Krishna is credited with
discovering pearls and presented the sea born beauty to his
daughter on the day of her wedding.

As time progressed, pearl harvesting became a lucrative business
and fueled exploration all over the world. After the “discovery”
of pearl-laden shellfish in the New World, wealth seekers from
all over the world flocked to the newfound land for its riches.
Still, both fresh water pearls and salt water pearls were
symbols of riches that only the wealthiest of individuals could
afford. It was not until the early 1900s that pearls became a
possibility for all classes.

In 1907, the son of a Japanese noodle maker developed a system
for creating perfectly round pearls in a controlled environment.
Kokichi Mikimoto and his wife Ume created a pearl empire that
still sets of the bar for quality pearls to this day. The
Mikimoto company still produces astoundingly beautiful pearls
today using the practices set in place by Kokichi and Ume.

While Mikimoto was working to culture high quality pearls, two
more Japanese minds were also striving to have similar
successes. Tokichi Nishikawa and Tatsuhei Mise were working
independently, but found similar results and success in grafting
irritants into the oyster’s tissue to spur the production of a
pearl. After discovering they were working independently toward
the same goal, the men joined forces to create the
Mise-Nishikawa method. Mikimoto soon purchased the rights to
this method and coupled the men’s creations and techniques with
his own.

Grill Your Steak The Right Way

Filed under: Eating — admin @ 10:36 am

No matter what you preference in a steak, maintaining good moisture should always be your goal. When searching for a good cut of beef, look for a cut with good consistent marbling. Fat equals flavor so very low fat content in meat will tend to dry it out and have much less flavor. You should not have to coat a great piece of meat with sauce just to get flavor, in fact you should avoid using a sauce at all. You want to see visible grains of fat running through the meat but not large pieces of fat. If you do see larger pieces simply trim them off. As you cook your steak the fat will melt and naturally tenderize the meat.

After removing the meat from refrigeration seasoning the meat with generous amounts of salt and pepper.
Many other herb and spice combinations can be added to your taste just be sure you have plenty of salt and pepper in addition to any other seasonings. Allow the meat to come to room temperature before grilling.

When grilling your steak first make sure that you have your grill nice and hot. This will give the outside a nice crust and will also help seal in its natural juices. If you fire flares up at any point, move the meat off the flame. While you want a hot grill, you do not want direct flame on the meat for any extended time period. The worst mistake that most grillers make is to continually flip the meat time and time again. Continually flipping the meat does nothing but cause the meat to dry out. Flipping the steak over and over does not make you a grill master, doing it right, does. In the end you will flip your steak 3 times which will mean you have cooked both sides twice for 3 minutes on each side. For cross-hatch marks on your meat simply turn it 45 degrees when flipping. Total cooking time should be roughly 12 minutes. This will achieve a medium rare steak depending on how hot your grill is. Because every grill it different you will need to experiment to get the desired results.

There is no exact way to tell when the steak is done. Without cutting the meat open and risking the release of its juices, the best way is to either press the meat to judge its tenderness or use a meat thermometer. If you choose not to press the meat, you can use you hand as a guide. For instance if you take you index finger and touch the fleshy part of your palm right under your thumb, that is what rare should feel like. Conversely if you touch you pinky to that same part of your palm that is the consistency of well done. So from finger to the next starting with your index finger and ending with the pinky it would be: rare, medium-rare, medium and well done.

Herb rub:

1 tablespoon dried thyme

1 tablespoon dried oregano

1 tablespoon kosher salt

2 teaspoons freshly cracked black pepper

2 teaspoons mustard powder

2 teaspoons paprika

1 teaspoon onion

Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl. Brush the steak lightly with olive oil and rub in herb rub.

Interview with Gary Pisarski, author of “Black River Crossing”

Filed under: Books + Authors — admin @ 10:26 am

Reader Views would like to welcome Gary Pisarski, author of “Black River Crossing,” a new historical fiction set in the Civil War era.

Juanita: Thank you for talking with us today Gary. Please give us an idea of the storyline in “Black River Crossing.”

Gary: A young unmarried couple, Carol Ann and Will, survive the horror of the Civil War and its aftermath. Sweethearts before the war, they move westward to escape the hopelessness of a South Carolina in despair. For Carol Ann, the journey leads her to a new life at the Double-M ranch in Texas, spanning a period of eleven years until everything she has found is threatened as a result of the Black River crossing.

Juanita: What is the underlying theme of your book?

Gary: My interest is the human experience and although Carol Ann is the central character, this is a story of several other characters as well and their intertwining relationships. At any point in time, we all react to one another and in crisis situations based on what has happened in our lives previously. That is the basis of the actions taken by the key characters in the book in the final scenes of Black River Crossing.

Juanita: Give us a little insight into the hearts and minds of the leading characters.

Gary: I believe that the relationship between an author and his or her characters is like that of a parent and children. The characters we create and the children we raise take the values we have tried to mold into their beings. And like the parent letting go as their child leaves home for the world outside the family unit, the characters in a book come to life in their new relationship with the reader. Carol Ann is a strong, kind, and loving young woman who in the beginning of the book has lost the people who were the center of her life. Like Will, she has a good heart, and as such they don’t always recognize the deception of others that eventually separates their lives. Agnes is a woman who like Carol Ann, once left her home at an early age looking for a better life, but fate led on a different journey. And when the two women meet, Agnes is driven by her own desires for her son.

Juanita: What is Carol Ann’s message to your readers?

Gary: Life does not always turn out as youth dreams it will be and we cannot hold on physically to the people we meet early in our lives. Carol Ann’s strength was her ability to accept life knowing that memories are nourishing while regrets are bitter.

Juanita: What does “Black River Crossing” suggest to us about ‘fate’?

Gary: The people that touch us in different periods of our lives, family, friends, and loves, stay in the heart and are treasured in the mind forever. Fate cannot take us back in time to relive the past, but what we all carry from the past determines how we respond to the challenges brought by fate.

Juanita: What are some of the similarities that people face today in comparison to the era of the Civil War?

Gary: Human emotions are the same. In a way, as back then, people and icebergs are alike in that both only show a fraction of what lies beneath. People interact with one another every day, but never have the insight into the depth of each other’s feelings and experiences that drives how we interact. I don’t believe that has changed; though society in the era of and in the aftermath of the Civil War has changed significantly from the society of today, and those society changes impacts how we interact with one another.

Juanita: I know you are a Civil War buff, but tell us about the research you did in preparation for writing “Black River Crossing?”

Gary: Actually, I’m not a Civil War buff at all. The story ideas as well as the emotions of the characters were the primary conceptions developed first. I felt that that the Civil War and the period that followed best suited the story that I wished to tell. I enjoy American History, but have always been left with a desire to understand how the different periods of time affected the emotions and the thoughts of those people living those various times. For me, the post Civil War period provided a chance to bring together people impacted by varied experiences of the era.

Juanita: So many people headed west during that time. What was the ‘promise of Texas’ for the many that traveled so far, undertaking such insurmountable challenges?

Gary: Escape and a migration towards hope, and at that period in our history, the West was a vast, open area that provided that hope.

Juanita: What inspired you to write “Black River Crossing,” your first novel?

Gary: I had roughed out five storylines, one of which led to this story. My wife’s sister, Carol, died at the age of twenty and my wife has often wondered aloud what Carol’s life would have been like had she not passed at such an early age. That was the inspiration to build the story around Carol Ann as the main character, who at the beginning of the book is that same age.

Juanita: Do you have plans to write another book?

Gary: I have finished a second work of fiction, set in modern day Chicago, the city in which I was born and raised. I have a rough outline for a 3rd as well.

Juanita: Gary, thank you for talking with us today. We will be watching for your upcoming books, and wish you all the best. How can your readers get more information about you and your endeavors, and do you have any last thoughts for us today?

Gary: The website is www.GaryPisarski.npauthors.com, which can be accessed directly or through www.nightengalepress.com. Thank you for this opportunity. I hope those readers who open the cover of this book will enjoy both the story and the characters they meet along the way.

How To Write Money-Making Copy

Filed under: Market — admin @ 10:12 am

In writing copy that pays the bills, writers need to be aware of the importance of research, the supremacy of ‘the offer’, and the necessity of clarifying the response mechanism. That puts them one step closer to writing money-making copy!

Once writers have laid the groundwork, there are three more steps to follow:

1. Decide concept and format. What’s your slant? If, for example, you’re promoting a book about controlling blood sugar, do you go the serious ‘diabetes health report’ route? The indulgent ‘eat anything you want - even sweet desserts’ route? Perhaps the ‘Glycemic index’ slant? How about the vanity/weight loss approach? (Here is where you use your research to determine prevailing consumer interests.)

Will your copy be long-form-full-disclosure, short and teasing, or a mixture of both? Deciding your point of view and format up front make it easier for you to craft copy that speaks to the consumer in the way that will make them place the order. Use the research or test results from previous rollouts to figure out what they respond to best, and write in that style. Speaking of which…

2. WRITE, WRITE, WRITE. The copy is the single most important element. Shoddy copy usually results in suppressed response. In addition to the offer you also need to focus on benefits. The question you’re answering is ‘What’s in it for me?’ This is what every prospect/buyer wants to know.

Other vital elements are:

  • powerful headline and sub-heads
  • scannable copy with lots of white space for easy reading
  • numerous hotlinks.

People often only read headlines and bolded copy, so make sure that your headlines and subheads tell a cohesive, compelling story on their own. Make sure your call to action is prominent and powerful. Dumb it down. Use complex words for your novel. For direct mail, keep them short and sweet: call, free, gift, order, phone, now, today, free, free, free. Did I mention free?

3. Rinse and repeat. So your campaign rolled out, the orders rolled in, you cashed your cheque, and now you’re on to the next client. They need the deliverables yesterday. (Isn’t that always the case?) The great thing is, you now have a winning format/formula that you can apply to multiple jobs.

This is not an excuse to get lazy - the copy must still be snappy, zingy, on-brand, and on-strategy. But there’s nothing better than knowing you have a template to follow when it’s the midnight before your full copy deck is due…and you haven’t yet started. In this case, repetition is good.

Paying Respects to Meir Kahane

Filed under: House Of Religion — admin @ 6:53 am

Considering the anniversaries of the murders of Prime Minister Rabin and Israeli Parliament Member and rabbi Meir Kahane are fast approaching, this letter sent to Jewish friends in America during my sojourn in Israel during that tragic time reveals on the scene details about the dark shadow that continues to haunt the Holy Land today:

Mon., Nov. 13, ‘95

Shalom from Jerusalem!

May this find you well - all things considered. The enclosed magazine “In Justice” has an excellent article about the Temple Mount - addressing many of the religious concerns & clearing up a lot of the unnecessary confusion that the rabbis have contributed to. There’s also an excellent article by Rabbi Meir Kahane about Eretz Yisrael.

I went with my lawyer friend from the Temple Mt. Faithful to Rabbi Kahane’s gravesite where I lit a candle in the prayerful hope that as our situation grows darker, his light will grow brighter. Of course there were police taking photographs of all those paying their respects.

This hypocritical government forbid a memorial rally in Zion
Square (planned before Rabin died), while encouraging the leftist rally in Tel Aviv. I’m afraid the secular situation could lead to our deportation back to “Babylon.” It’s frightening that the Attorney General Ben-Yair is threatening journalists not to interview or publish anyone who might approve of Rabin’s death. (I was interviewed by The Philadelphia Inquirer on Ben-Yehuda mall).

Today he went further acknowledging how undemocratic he’s acting in threatening to stop buses from reaching demonstrations! They’ve already done that when they declared the highway from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem a military zone & blocked ZO ARTZEINU buses from reaching Jerus. this summer! I knew Rabin’s death would give them an excuse to
try & crush the opposition with an iron fist.

The J. Post said they’d run a letter soon I wrote about my arrest on the Temple Mt.

A rabbi I know here is now trying to help me obtain at least permanent residence. The president of Root & Branch also wrote a letter of recomm. for me. So much to say but I’m off soon to tonight’s Root & Branch lecture. They’re interesting.

To be cont.
