Start New Projects With Bad Credit Business Loans

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

Often business persons going through a bad credit phase face hurdles in availing much required finance. This, however, is not the case with the business people who take route of bad credit business loans. If key aspects of bad credit business loans are given a thought, business persons take the required amount of loan at lower interest rate.

There are number of utilizations of bad credit business loans such as starting a new business, buying new business assets, making payments to the creditors. One of the best uses of this loan is to pay off previous debts and thus improve credentials in the eyes of lenders.

Before applying or finalizing bad credit business loans deal it is advisable that business persons first make efforts to show some improvements in their credit report which results in better credit score. Borrowers should know that under FICCO scale credit score ranges from 300 to 850 and a score of 720 and above is considered by lenders as safe and risk free for giving the loan. Business persons should take their credit report to one of the reputed related agencies and ensure that there are no errors in the report. If business people can pay off their easy debts then it helps in improving credit score.

After taking care of the credit score, business persons are all set to take bad credit business loans at better terms and conditions. The loan is availed in secured and unsecured forms. Taking bad credit business loans is fairly easy if business persons opt for secured bad credit business loans. Under this option a security in the form of collateral is offered by the business person to the lender. Collateral may consist of any property of the borrower. The amount of loan depends a lot on the equity of the collateral with higher equity enabling greater loan. If the equity is bigger then the borrower can also negotiate with the lender for a lower interest rate.

Secured bad credit business loans are available for a larger duration of 5 to 30 years. This gives enough duration for the borrowers to come out of bad credit phase. Moreover, the borrowers can opt for monthly installments of smaller amount as suits their budget.

In case of unsecured bad credit business loans business people need not to take the loan against a property and instead their financial standing becomes prominent. In such cases, loan providers look for repayment capacity of the business person.

Another beneficial way of getting bad credit business loans is through using the medium of internet. When a business person applies for the loan online, he or she has numerous loans offer from as many loan providers and can chose the loan package having lower interest rate of his budget.

If taken carefully, bad credit business loans in fact contribute towards financial well being of business persons having adverse credit history.

Ten Common Sense Investing Principles

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

1. Put Your Money To Work

Investing is about putting money to work in effective ways to make more money. The most effective way to put your money to work over the long term is in well-run, profitable companies. Companies that are good stewards of your money, will help you create a level of wealth that you couldn’t generate by merely saving your money.

2. Investing is not a Game

Many people mistakenly think of investing in the same way they think of sports or gambling: as a game. Watch CNBC for a day and you’ll see what we mean. The ups the downs, the highs the lows. The stock market, over the short-term, can provide entertainment value and adrenaline rush.

But investing is not a game. Your goal is to make more money, and it turns out that over the long-term, there are intelligent and rational strategies for growing your money. The reason you make money should actually make sense!

Remember: don’t treat investing as a game of chance. Understanding why your investment makes you money is the key to being a common sense investor.

3. Risk is relative

It is not uncommon for financial advisers to give very bad advice. One of the most common pieces of bad advice is the view that saving your money in something like a CD is less risky than investing it in stock equities. Why is this not true (most of the time)? Because history tells us that risk is relative. Over a 15 year period of time it is clearly more risky to leave money in a CD than in good stock. While your balance won’t erode, the purchasing power of your money could due to inflation and taxes.

Over periods of time that are greater than three years, the common sense investor understands that, ceteris paribus, the best place for money is in stocks.

4. Invest in Good Companies, Avoid Bad Companies

The common sense investor entrusts his money in companies that put money to good use. Good companies will use money in effective ways to produce more wealth. One of the best ways to identify good companies is to look at their Return on Equity, which is essentially a measure of how well they create profits using shareholder investments.

5. Don’t Pay Too Much For a Good Thing

Even if you’ve found a good company, don’t invest in the company unless it’s being sold at a reasonable price. Ideally, try to find good companies that are selling at a discount. Often times, you will have to go against the flow and buy into companies that are out of favor for one reason or another (often irrational) with investing professionals. Normally, a company is priced too high if it’s Price To Earnings ratio is higher than its Return on Equity.

6. Fear the Following of Fads

Following the crowd can be disastrous for the common sense investor. More often than not, it results in paying way more than a company is worth. If the price of a company is dictated by short-term exuberance rather than long-term rationality, it should be avoided.

In fact, the common sense investor can take advantage of the fact that in the short term, stock market exuberance is often irrational. If the boys on Wall Street are too extreme in a sell-off for a good company, you should be ready to buy.

7. Time is on Your Side: the power of compounding interest

Give your money as much time to grow as possible. If your money doubled every five years, then five thousand dollars would turn into $320,000 in thirty years. Over 10 years, it would only turn into $20,000. Big difference.

It seems like magic, but it’s not. The earlier you put your money to work, the longer it works for you, and the more wealth you generate. It makes a lot of sense if you think about it. Wealth is generated via production. The longer your money works in good companies, the more time it has to produce further profit; profit which you get to share. The cool thing is that you can put all of your profit back to work, and effectively have more money generating more profit. This process can keep iterating so long as you don’t withdraw your money.

8. Some Debt is Good Debt, But Most Debt is Bad

Why pay off a debt that is accruing a 5% tax-deductible interest when you could be generating 12% interest by investing your money instead? Many people make the mistake of trying to pay down their home mortgage early, but this is often unadvisable for several reasons. First of all, the money you pay towards your mortgage is not liquid and gets tied up in your home until you sell. Second, mortgage is often tax-deductible. You can’t take advantage of this tax break if you avoid the interest.

Having said that, most debt should be avoided. Never sustain credit card debt and try to avoid all debt that will be used to purchase items that depreciate (e.g. cars, clothes, toys). Debt can be emotionally and psychologically difficult to sustain so only carry good debt if it doesn’t affect you aversely.

9. Keep It Simple

Always, always, always understand your investments. Understand the company’s business model: how they make money. If the business model seems odd (read: Enron) or complicated or unfocused, avoid the company, even if it means that you have to avoid the temptation of following the crowd.

Companies make money by producing products and services that people or businesses want and need. Make sure you understand what products and services your company are producing and developing for profit.

10. Employ Disciplined Principles

Invest regularly and intentionally. Force yourself to put your money to work, but don’t just throw your money at any investment. Choose your investments wisely. Don’t chase after fads. Fight your emotions. If you feel like selling (the market is doing badly), you should probably consider buying and if you feel like buying (the market is doing well), you should probably consider selling.

Acne Skin Care Treatments

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

Acne sufferers today can choose from an array of products and regimens designed for acne skin care, both in prescription and over-the-counter preparations. Whether you are a teenager with typical hormone-driven breakouts, or are battling acne as an adult, you should be able to find a skin care treatment that gives you relief.

Acne skin care products target the problem of acne with several different strategies—some work by reducing the production of the oil glands, others by killing the P. acnes bacteria that cause the acne eruption, and others reduce the build-up of dead skin cells that leads to clogged pores. Several popular skin care products perform more than one of these functions.

The oldest commercial acne skin care treatment, and still one of the most widely available, is Benzoyl Peroxide. Sold in gels, creams, and washes, Benzoyl Peroxide fights acne by killing the P. acnes bacterium on the surface of the skin. It also has a drying and peeling effect, which may help reduce the severity of acne.

Users report that Benzoyl Peroxide can take four to six weeks of constant use to achieve full effect, but that it is a powerful tool in acne skin care when used faithfully. It can be found in commercial acne skin care products, such as Oxy 5 and Clearasil, but is also available in prescription strength.

Antibiotics are another common treatment used in acne skin care. Like Benzoyl Peroxide, they target the P. acnes bacterium, and can be found in gels and creams, but are usually administered as an oral medication. Common antibiotics used for acne treatment are Erythromycin, Clindamycin, and Tetracycline. Another aspect of antibiotic use in acne skin care is their anti-inflammatory effect, which reduces the redness and swelling of acne eruptions that have already occurred.

Additionally, Sodium Sulfacetamide and Azelaic Acid are prescribed to fight P. acnes bacteria, although neither are antibiotics.

Azelaic Acid, Salicylic Acid, Resorcinol, sulphur, and Adapalene are products that approach acne skin care with the intent to reduce clogged pores by peeling or sloughing off dead skins cells. Salicylic Acid is found in over-the-counter acne care products, such as Stridex, as are Resorcinol and sulphur.

While most acne skin care treatments in this group target the surface of the skin, Adapalene, a prescription-only medication, reduces the build-up of dead skin cells inside the pore itself. Also a prescription-only skin care product, Azelaic Acid has the added benefit of killing P. acnes bacteria.

To reduce oil production, there are two common acne skin care treatments: oral contraceptives, and Isotretinoin (Accutane). Of the two, Accutane, a vitamin A derivative, has the most severe side-effects, which include a high risk of birth defects, and is used for severe cases when other acne skin care regimens have failed.

Oral contraceptives work as an acne treatment because they are anti-androgens—they reduce levels of male hormones, specifically testosterone. Increased oil production in women has been linked to elevated levels of testosterone. Not all birth control pills work in the same manner, and the progestins used in some actually act like androgens, so be sure to inform your doctor if you wish your oral contraceptive to serve the dual purpose of acne skin care.

Every acne skin care product available today has side effects, some of them quite severe. Always consult your doctor or dermatologist, and read carefully all labels and warnings before beginning an acne skin care regimen.

Forget About Eating

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

A funny thing happened during my last trip to Atlanta. I was visiting my buddy John—not a southerner, but we had a good time nonetheless.

John is the type of guy who lives in the right house, drives the right car, wears the right clothes, and always laughs at your jokes whether funny or not—good to have a friend like that.

Oh yeah, one more thing, he’s thin.

We were out on Saturday doing all the things you can’t do in Dothan, AL. Like, getting a sprayed-on suntan, having a cup of Starbuck’s coffee, watching a man dressed as a drum majorette twirling a baton at the corner of Piedmont and Monroe; but I digress.

It was approaching three o’clock as John said from behind the steering wheel of his Mercedes, “I forgot lunch, are you hungry?”

It was like a message from beyond. All these years I’ve been wondering why I can’t lose weight and my friends seem to be faithfully thin.

I can sum it all up in one sentence:

I DON’T FORGET TO EAT.

Unbeknownst to John, not only had I not forgotten lunch, I had been planning the blessed event since breakfast. Yes, I had gone over it a million times in my brain planning what sorts of cuisines we could choose from. I knew from experience, he’d spring the lunch question at the last minute and I needed to be prepared with choices like, Italian, Mexican or just plain southern food. A guy like me can’t be trusted with a snap decision about a meal; we only get three of them in a day.

But to forget lunch altogether? The concept is as foreign to me as men’s clothes are to that majorette.

Where did I go wrong? I’ve reviewed the details of my life to determine at what point I became obsessed with this eating habit. The only result I can come up with is that no one in my family ever forgot to eat. I come from a huge family even though there are just a few of us who haven’t already “passed away” because of high cholesterol—but eating is a joyous time for the one’s of us that are left. We begin thinking about new recipes for Thanksgiving in about the July timeframe. And, we know what we’re having for supper before the lunch dishes are cleared.

Forget about fad diets; forget about food exchanges, calories and carbs. I have an announcement for America—you won’t be thin unless you forget to eat!

So, how do you forget?

I’ve been trying to forget ever since I got back from Atlanta, but so far I’ve been a failure. Every time I attempt to forget eating, I see a billboard, television commercial or hear a radio ad about new undiscovered delicacies I haven’t even tried. The choices are limitless and my will to eat everything before it kills me is far too great.

There was only once in my life when I was successful in losing unwanted pounds. It was after my trip south of the boarder and I picked up a nasty little bug that was living in the ice cubes of my coke—so, my doctor says. That little bug kept me running between the water closet and my bed for three days. At the end of it, I had lost 10 pounds and during most of that time it never occurred to me to eat. I can only conclude that thin people must have this sick feeling all the time that keeps food far from their minds. If they only knew how great us fat people feel they’d schedule their meals a week in advance just like we do.

I’d go on with this column, but the bell just rang on the microwave oven. My popcorn with extra butter is ready to eat; that’ll hold me to supper when we’re having country-fried steak, mashed potatoes, green beans, biscuits, and sweet potato pie for desert.

I think it’s time for another trip to Mexico.

Ya’ll come!

Perseverance Pays

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

I don’t know which programs you’ve tried or what types of marketing tactics you’ve used and it doesn’t really matter. Because it all comes down to one thing: perseverance.

You can make money in just about any program if you stick with it. And most of the so-called “scams” out there are not. People just call them scams because they failed.

So how do you succeed in these programs?

It’s all about the marketing. The only thing you have to do is get people to the site you are marketing. And that’s where most people give up… That’s where the truth hits them over the head and they start to get discouraged. Because the truth is…

It takes either TIME or MONEY to generate traffic (or both). And nobody wants to risk the money and most people are too lazy to work. That’s why 90% of affiliates fail!

If you expect to make money overnight, it’s not going to happen. But once you learn how to generate traffic, the world will change for you. Because you can then direct that traffic anywhere you want and create multiple streams of income.

But you have to make it happen. I can’t give you some magical ad and secret ezine to place it in because everyone and their dog would do the same.
You have to get out and spread the word all over the Internet. You can place ezine ads for under $10. And there’s lot’s of places you can advertise for free.

Remember the 3 Keys to Success:

1. Take Action

2. Stay Focused

3. Make Informed Decisions

This may not be exactly what you wanted to hear, but it’s the truth. If you quit program after program, why would you expect to succeed in any program?

Private Property Sales Process

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

Private property sales are becoming increasingly common as
people try and save money on estate agents’ commissions. In this
article we have outlined the private property sales process to
help you understand the different steps involved.

Step 1: Valuing your Property

A property valuation is necessary whether your selling privately
or using an agent so that you know what is a reasonable asking
price for your home.

You can do this by looking to see what other similar properties
in your area have sold for recently or by asking a qualified
surveyor to make a valuation for you.

Step 2: Marketing Your Property

If you are looking to sell your property privately you might
want to think about advertising on some of the private property
sales websites.

Step 3: Viewings

If you sell your property privately, prospective buyers will
contact you directly to arrange to come and see your home. Make
sure that it is clean and tidy before viewings and don’t be
afraid to ask your visitors for feedback.

Step 4: Offer

If you are selling your property privately, then you will need
to negotiate any offers that are made. Once you have accepted an
offer you and the buyer need to instruct a solicitor to sort out
the conveyancing. This is where your solicitor prepares the
draft contract and necessary paperwork and the buyer’s solicitor
looks over contract, contacts land registry, begins searches.

Step 5: Exchange of Contracts

Once a completion date has been agreed, both parties sign the
contract and the buyer gives you a deposit.

Step 6: Completion

The completion of the sale is where the buyer pays the seller
through solicitors and ownership is transferred.

How to find a Website Designer

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

This is the fourth of eight articles about website design. Our discussion will deal with some of the issues which need to be considered when developing a new online presence. You may have already thought of some of these, but perhaps there are probably things which you haven’t even considered.
In the last article, we discussed domain name registration.

This week, we are going to start our search for a webmaster, aka “web designer.” Unless you are an accomplished programmer, you are going to have to spend some money at this point.

For example, is the server you are thinking about Linux/Apache or Windows based? Will it support dynamic pages, or only static, and if they do support dynamic will they support both PHP as well as ASP? Or do they stick to one flavor of dynamic. If these terms mean nothing to you, you are going to need the services of a webmaster, and now is the time to bring one on board, either as a contractor, or as an employee.

Web designers tend to specialize, so don’t feel like you need to get someone who is versed in every aspect of website design.

If you just want a basic HTML site then just about anyone with web design experience should be able to help, but please don’t call cousin Sam who just took an intro course and the community college. You want someone who knows something about business as well as websites, for you are building a business website. If you are not going to take orders online, then a static site, primarily for image purposes, is a good way to start.

But if you need a dynamic database driven site, you will need someone who understands PHP and MySQL. One who does ASP and Microsoft SQL may not be able to help, or perhaps they can.

There are many choices you can make here, but if cost is a major factor, stick with PHP, MySQL and some form of Linux. You may not know what they are, but when I say that they are free to use, it may give you good reason to think that way. And, believe it or not, there are A LOT of folks supporting these products for the good of the world, without pay. In my opinion, MySQL rivals any database system in the world for almost any use, and it is totally free for you to use. This is one time, my friend, that you get a lot more than you pay for!

The Yellow Pages are a good place to look for a designer. The size of the ad may give you an idea of experience and cost. A shop with many programmers is going to be more expensive, but may save money in the long run. In any case, get several estimates.

A web designer should be able to build a mock ups, or rough demo, for you early on to give you an idea of what the site may look like. They can put together some basic pages, add images and some generic text to give you a feel for the site. Do not expect to see a final site before you fork over some cash.

There are generally two ways to pay for a project like this, either a flat fee or by the hour. If you know precisely what you want, then go for a flat fee. If you do that, however, do not expect to make a lot of changes or additions that you expect to be done at no cost. You do not want to make your webmaster unhappy.

For most of us, an hourly based time and materials contract is best. The designer can give you ball-park estimates and tell you what it will cost per hour for anything else. And there will be changes, trust me.
Next time, we will talk about hosting your new site.

I Love You Dad

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

Being or becoming a dad can at times be overwhelming. From the very beginning, when we get the news a lot of us are left to feel like outsiders or intruders.

The experience an expecting mom has to go thru is something way beyond our comprehension. It is something a man has never gone through and something we can never fully take part in.

Instead of pulling away or feel self pity, during these nine first months of your babys existence there are things you can do to be supportive and start feeling like a dad. Remember you are pregnant too, and there is no reason for you to feel like a third party.

If you have just become a dad your questions are probably many and you might even feel some jealousy towards the little one. This is not an abnormal feeling but one that you need to get rid of real quick. Get over yourself and start bonding with your bundle of joy.

This time right after birth is your time to get to know him/her and vice versa. Hold them, feed them, dress them, change them and bath them. Last but not least love them. Do not be intimidated by their size, a baby is not as fragile
as he/she looks.

During this time you as a dad also need to be there and take the load of mom to a certain degree. Although she might appear to be her old self again this process takes quite a while both mentally and physically. Let her worry only about the baby during this period and you take over other responsibilities as well as spending time with your baby.

One very important thing for you as a dad is to have a good support network around you. Nobody ever said becoming a dad was easy and we also have a lot of questions and uncertainty about what we are doing. Therefore our best network should be other fathers who have already gone through what you are experiencing now.

There are a lot of groups out there for dads only where you can get answers to all your questions and where you can share your experiences with others. Also there are many websites out there for dads only which are a great tool for you to take advantage of.

Step up to the plate and be the best dad you can. The best reward you can ever get is when you here these 4 words: I love you DAD!

Moon Gardening: Planting by Moonlight

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

Moon Phases and Planting

Planting by the phases of the moon is a method of cultivation as old as agriculture and civilization. Based both in tradition and superstition, the character and growth traits of plants were seen to vary with the phases of the moon. Through the corridors of time this rhythm of growth was recorded and passed down to following generations.

Today we have access to this half forgotten knowledge and what has endured is a schedule of plant growth that we can use just as those gardeners of yore. It is an example of mankinds struggle to understand and harness the forces of nature and in so doing master this world.

Moon, Tides, Seeds and Water

The Earth is in a gravity well that is constantly altered by both the sun, moon and planets. The ocean tides are at their highest during the time of the full moon, when the sun and moon are lined up with the earth. The ancients believed that as the moon draws the tides in the seas, it also draws upon all water, causing moisture to swell up in the earth, which promotes growth. This is the best time for planting seeds.

The Full Moon: A window of opportunity for planting seeds

When the moon is full the lunar gravity draws water up and causes seeds to germinate. It was also believed, in ancient times, that the increasing moonlight created balanced root and leaf growth. This, they thought, was the best time for planting above ground annual crops that produce their seeds outside the fruit. Examples of such crops are lettuce, spinach, celery, broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, and grain crops. Through time and trials cucumbers were thought to like this phase also, even though they are an exception to the rule.

The Second Quarter Moon: A window of opportunity for planting above ground crops

In the second quarter moon (i.e. waxing half moon) the pull of gravity is less, but the moonlight is substantial and on the increase, which was believed to encourage strong leaf growth. It was generally considered a good time for most types of planting and the prime time for this was usually two days before the full moon. The types of crops that prefer the second quarter moon are annuals that produce their fruits above the ground, but the seeds form inside the fruit, such as beans, melons, peas, peppers, squash, and tomatoes.

The Third Quarter Moon: A window of opportunity for planting root crops

When the moon enters the third quarter its light is diminishing (i.e. waning half moon), the light energy is dwindling. But during this time the gravitational pull is still quite high, creating increased moisture in the soil. Also, at this time the moonlight is decreasing, which our forefathers believed was putting energy into the roots. This was thought to be an excellent time for planting root crops which include beets, carrots, onions, potatoes, and peanuts. It is also considered a good time for planting perennials, biennials, bulbs and transplanting because of the active root growth. Pruning is also best done in the third quarter moon.

The New Moon: An opportunity for maintaining the garden

At the time of the new moon both the gravitational pull and the moonlight are decreasing and was thus considered a resting period. Growth during this period was believed to be stable and steady providing strength to the plants and a good time for maintenance. This was predicted to be the best time to cultivate, harvest, transplant and prune.

Brother Sun and Sister Moon

The role of the sun and the moon in agriculture is undeniable. The sun powers the forces of growth and the moon enhances or discourages the various stages of plant formation. This was believed by many generations of gardeners to be the ultimate guide to robust crops. We can either accept or omit this system of understanding the nature of plant maturation but in the end we are but stewards in this cycle of life.

Chakra Balancing

Wednesday, October 10th, 2007

Chakra reconciliation is founded on the ancient Amerind impression in a series of 7 chakras, or vigor centers. Chakra is the Sanskrit word for wheel. These vigour centers ar believed to be placed at particular points between the pedestal of the spinal column and the circus tent of the skull. Some esoteric systems include additional chakras, said to extend beyond the tangible consistency into the human auric field. Each chakra is believed to relate to particular organs of the consistence, ailments, colors, elements, and emotions. However, different systems or sources that use the idea of chakras whitethorn disagree about the details.

The conception of chakras plays a key role in two ancient Amerindian language healing systems (ayurvedic medicine and yoga) that popular today. In recent decades, however, many modern therapies (like polarity therapy , therapeutic touch , process acupressure, core energetics, and semblance therapy ) rich person besides incorporated the idea of chakras into their own visions of healing. Various approaches English hawthorn be used to “balance” the chakras. Chakra is believed to promote wellness by maximising the stream of vim in the organic structure, much as a tune-up enables a car to operate on at peak efficiency. Chakras part of the ancient feeling arrangement connected with yoga.

These traditions were handed down orally for thousands of years before being codified by Patanjali in his Yoga Sutras, several centuries before Christ. The ancient healing science of Ayurveda is on a collection of scriptures known as vedas (a Sanskrit word meaning knowledge or wisdom). Ayurveda literally means “life knowledge.” It remained the predominant form of care in India until the British colonial government tried to suppress it during the nineteenth century. Over the last half-century, however, a modernized form of has gained considerable popularity in India.

More recently, traditional has been popularized in the West by such high-profile advocates as Deepak Chopra. Balancing the chakras is believed to promote general and well-being by ensuring the free flowing of life push (too known as prana or qi) throughout the physical structure. It is believed that blockages in the current of this vital get-up-and-go will eventually result in mental, emotional, and/or touchable illness. By removing such blockages and Department of Energy menstruation, practitioners said to enable dead body, mind, and spirit to function optimally. Some alternative practitioners, such as medical intuitives, say they can “read” a patient’s chakras to detect imbalances and diagnose problems.

This is likewise sometimes done using a pendulum. Just as the various forms of yoga attempt to mediate between the forcible and Negro spiritual realms, so the chakras believed to manoeuver as Energy Department transformers. They often shown as circles, spaced at intervals along the vertebral column, or sometimes as funnels of Energy. Specific chants or sounds with the different chakras used in some yogic meditation practices as tools for healing and apparitional evolution. Each of the VII chakras is said to wealthy person physiological and metaphysical functions that relate to both the nature of the blockages and to the active problems they produce.
