For the great adaptive businessman out there, the handiness to get online and utilise your gadgets back at the office can be a great help. Now available in a large amount of Nokia phones for sale now are Business Phones. These intelligent pieces of high-technology enable you to receive your data through internet browsers and email any of your clients and partners. Indeed, your handset acts in a similar way as a laptop does, except it’s smaller than half of the volume. You can purchase business phones from Nokia on their UK site.
Nokia, as they say, is all about connecting people. They also believe that mobility makes firms healthier. Mobility gives people the ability to co-operate and carry out business outside of the customary work places and times. Nokia provides an expansive number of business handsets. All of the devices is aimed at different types of users.
Drawing on their business range Nokia provide four particular makes of business hand set. These are communicators, smart phones, messaging sets and mobile telephones. Nokia business hand sets have solutions like Nokia Intellisync Wireless Email. Nokia carried out some research and it has been uncovered that folk using wireless email achieved an average extra fifty five mins. of work a day. This is predicted to stretch to 80 mins extra per day by the very end of 07. Yet another advantage of utilising their Business handsets is that they may save some money for the firm or even for you yourself as you will not depend upon two distinct devices - people can have all they need in a single set.
Nokia sets are superb for companies and for pros. All the sets have great designs, are all extremely compatible and also simple to use, once you’ve used them for a while. The email possibilities are marvellous with support from Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Microsoft Office 97, 2000, 2003 and XP and also it’s compatible with the zip manager and Adobe Reader. Users can send & receive emails along with conversing on the sets plus they may get the current calendar and the contact details. The e mail facilities are also able to work in the off-line mode which means users can read and write e-mails while the network is unavailable.
Even though the business sets supplied by Nokia aren’t all exceptionally small scale, what needs to be remembered is they are good dimensions considering what they’re capable of. Most of them come with a full keyboard and backlight, a large landscape screen along with an easy one touch feature which accesses your email function.
A business phone will not be for everyone but for the help it offers users who will make full use of all the facilities, its assuredly going to make their life much more simple.

Maybe it’s just me, but the increasing number of reality television shows based on transforming their female participants through plastic surgery has got me concerned. As these hopeful young women stuff, slice, and dye their God-given bodies into a shell of its original packaging, one has to wonder about the “self” that is left behind. Has it been healed by this “transformation?” Are its hopes, dreams and unique quirks gone with the wave of a scalpel? Or even more alarming, what “self” is in charge now? What is its frame of reference? Is it doomed to be no more substantive than what lies on the surface?
I have wrestled with the question of whether make-up can ever be truly flattering when the wearer is living a lie. So, by extension, what of the woman trying to create a new life experience by some strategically placed veneers or silicone?
The truth of the matter (and the one that brings forth an authentic glow that surgery would be hard pressed to replicate) is to proceed in the world with one’s true “self” intact- in all its apparent kookiness and supposed “faults.” In letting this self and its accompanying frame of reference take the lead, in time, the optimal ways for us to “show up” in the world- both internally and externally- will be revealed.
Now I do not mean to suggest that we withhold surgical correction for those who are born with birth defects, or in a situation where it is otherwise medically necessary. I am speaking to the all-too common trend these days, where one is suddenly seized with an overwhelming urge to look like the celebrity du jour. Would Barbra Streisand be so distinctively Barbra without her nose? Perhaps even she realized on a subconscious level that she would not be going through this life as a shrinking violet (given her status as a creative force to reckon with), and that she needed a nose that was up to the task. Must we all look like J. Lo? How many more Jennifer Anistons do we need?
For the deeper and more serious concern is while we are lusting after the assorted body parts of the women that parade across center stage in the media, the task of being distinctively ourselves is left on the cutting room floor. And our true self, far from being defined by our special gifts or our ways of doing and being, would then be at the mercy of what (or who) is “in.” Sadly, our newly “transformed” sisters may soon find that they are treating themselves with the same degree of superficiality and lack of regard.
I am a realist and I am fully aware of how one’s appearance can have an impact on how societal rewards are meted out and how one is treated. However, is there nothing more reassuring (if not sexy) than a woman who knows herself, her truth and lives it boldly, societal dictates be damned? Can someone with the tell-tale “deer in headlights” demeanor of the perpetually Botoxed compete with someone with this type of presence and energy? Can we consider stepping out of the box and proposing a standard of beauty that doesn’t change by the end of Fashion Week- perhaps revising it to include a demonstrated comfort in one’s skin coupled with fierce self-love?
While we race to submit to the latest procedure, it is tempting to believe (once the bandages are off) that the “new and improved” facade that redirects the paparazzi flash bulbs in our direction holds the answer. However, the more subtle, long-term process of knowing yourself and seeing how this knowledge informs and shapes our life experience, is something no surgeon, no matter how skilled, can facilitate.

Get Drama and Trauma Out of Your Karma
You finally make a friend or get a hot date with someone you’re
attracted to-then blow it by acting aloof or not being yourself.
Have you ever had the experience of deciding to take a certain
action, but end up doing something quite different? Crazy! Why
do we do that? Often our actions are being run by decisions we
made as a kid. Decisions that went on automatic, underground,
behind-the-scenes, and now, affect us unconsciously. Decisions
that are now controlling our actions in the present moment
without us being aware of them.
You land an exciting job-then blow it by “copping an attitude”
with the boss or customers.
Why do we get so off track after we begin with such good
intention and courage? It’s those pesky childhood decisions! As
we grew up, we developed strategies to survive at home and in
school. We wanted our parents’ love and attention and a safe
place to live. We wanted to belong, get asked to the prom, and
pass exams-while not getting beaten up by the school bully or
humiliated by gossip.
We decided to act in certain ways to keep ourselves as socially
acceptable and secure as possible.
Congratulations, You Succeeded!
The survival strategies you developed as a kid worked! These
behavior patterns were good, positive, beneficial, even
brilliant. They succeeded in doing the job they were designed to
do in that situation at that time. The proof-you’re reading
this. These tactics kept you alive! Perhaps a bit bruised, but
still breathing. Breathing, but maybe not as happy as you could
be.
Once a Friend-Now a Foe
Have you noticed you’re still using some of the same behavioral
strategies to get what you want as an adult that you used in
your youth?
Playing naïve. Being passive-aggressive. Manipulative. Moody.
Sarcastic. Confused. Spacey. Overly sexy. Other kid tactics:
Pouting. Flirting. Whining. Complaining. Hiding. Running away.
Giving up. Fantasizing. Acting dumb. Having accidents. Getting
sick. Playing tough. Acting the fool. Telling white lies. Acting
like a victim. Pretending you’re someone you’re not.
Do these tactics work currently in your adult life to create
what you really want-loving mutual relationships, lasting
support from people and the universe, vibrant health, boundless
energy, real joy? Usually not! Since the circumstances and
nature of our adult challenges have changed dramatically since
we were young, most kid strategies are no longer appropriate or
effective. In fact, these old tactics now get in the way of
reaching our goals.
Why Don’t Childhood Successes Work for Adults?
Because any behavior that is unconscious and automatic can’t
adjust to new, different and changing situations. So, these
conditioned childhood survival strategies come back to haunt us
when we use them as adults-like disruptive ghosts from the past.
As adults, we still seek to be liked, to be included, and to
make the grade at work. But instead of applying fresh intuitive
responses that are appropriate to the current challenges, we are
on autopilot-unconsciously controlled by the programmed
decisions we made to deal with the trauma and drama of our
childhood.
Here are two real-life examples my friend Sulana shares from her
life that demonstrate how childhood decisions affect the way we
create life in the present:
The Great Pretender
“When I was young, my punishment du jour was being sent to my
room. My room became a safe haven from the rantings and
irrational behavior of my alcoholic parents. To lessen the
scoldings and whippings, I quickly learned to stay silent about
what I felt or observed. I naturally created strategies to keep
myself as safe as possible: hiding my feelings, telling white
lies, using sarcasm, and spending lots of time alone. And I
discovered I got attention from my parents by getting ill or
acting confused. So, I developed asthma and played dumb.
“Now as an adult, I long for honest, expressive relationships
with co-workers and employers-and playful, truthful
relationships with friends and lovers. But my own unconscious
behavior sabotages the openness and intimacy I so deeply desire.
I try to get people to talk about themselves without revealing
anything about myself. I pretend to not know information that I
do know. And I look for attention and love from other people by
getting sick and playing helpless and spacey.”
The Ex-Flower Child
“At first my new job delivering flowers was right up my alley. I
enjoyed the time driving gave me to be with myself. Then the
management changed our original agreement and required that I
work more hours and drive longer distances for less pay. Running
on my childhood programming, I kept my resentment to myself and
became moody. I felt like a victim, taken advantage of,
powerless. I pouted and whined to myself. When I talked to the
boss, I was angry and copped an attitude. It wasn’t long before
I got fired.”
Who’s the You Who Makes You Do?
What do YOU do to try to make friends, stay safe, fit in, be
loved? Until we undo these conditioned strategies, the decisions
we made when we were children run all aspects of our lives in
the present: from relationships and health to finances and work.
You can easily discover the automatic behaviors that are running
you. Scan through your life. Make a list of the challenges you
encountered throughout your life. What are the specific, unique
problems you had to face at your home, school, college, job-and
with your parents, relatives, friends, teachers and co-workers?
What personal strategies did you develop to get yourself through
the challenges of your journey? Are you still using similar
tactics? Are these approaches successful?
Intuition to the Rescue
The good news is that when you identify the past programmed
strategies that don’t work in your present life, you can create
new strategies that do work. The once necessary kid tactics that
kept you safe and balanced-like training wheels of a bicycle-can
be discarded. You are now capable of keeping yourself balanced
and safe using the guiding wisdom of your intuition and acquired
life experience.
Successful Alternatives Surround You
Exciting and playful alternative strategies are all around you.
Lots of people have discovered original, creative ways of
dealing with situations similar to yours. Fresh ideas and models
are demonstrated in the lives of truly happy and successful
people. With keen eyes and perked ears, you can glean fun and
compassionate life strategies from biographies, interviews, TV,
movies, books, news, magazines and advice columns. Seek out a
mentor, shaman or other personal advisor. Let your intuition
guide you to an inspiring workshop or professional coach.
Good luck. Have a good time creating new approaches to life that
work!
After what you’ve been through, you deserve it!

Self improvement (or self help) tools come in many shapes and sizes; sometimes it’s physical in nature (a self help book, having a massage, painting with water colors), or spiritual in nature (flower essences, Reiki, meditation which is both physical and spiritual, etc).
Five of the best self help options that I’ve used successfully to help soothe my own mind, body and spirit, are:
1. Meditation techniques – a fabulous self help tool which greatly benefits overall health and wellbeing. There are many techniques to choose from such as:
**Visually guided meditations;
**Candle meditation;
**Breathing meditation;
**Crystal meditation;
**Writing meditation (alternate by using dominant and non-dominant hand);
**Walking meditation;
**Body scanning; and
**A self healing meditation using either color; breathe work; aromatherapy; etc.
2. Painting with water colors, pastels or oil paints – express your uniqueness through art. This is a wonderful self help tool to employ for inner healing, letting go and for creating something new (a masterpiece for your lounge room wall).
3. Vibrational essences. Part of ancient wisdom, vibrational essences are used in healing to assist with the removal of emotional blocks and patterns, as well as resolving issues from past lives.
Essences are generally in liquid form and can also be used in creams, ointments and oils (I sometimes combine mine with an aromatherapy oil blend).
Vibrational substances are derived from light (sun, moon etc), healing energy (universal or spiritual energy, prana, Reiki etc), plants (flowers, stems, leaf etc), mineral (crystals, gold etc), environmental (sacred places), or animal.
Some examples of essences available (there are many) to explore further as a self help tool are:
**Flower, Gem, Angel, Shell, Coral, Sea, Goddess, and Chakra essences
4. Journal writing is a fabulous self help healing tool connecting you with your true essence, your spiritual self.
Find yourself a special journal/diary to write in; something special to write with (can be brightly colored inks or the more traditional black, blue or reds) and make a date with yourself to do some journal writing every morning at the same time (before rising out of bed).
I’ve practiced journal writing as a self help tool for many years and still find it, to this day, one of the greatest self help and self improvement tools around – and it costs nothing!
Write out your worries, sadness, loneliness, or whatever is playing on your mind. When you’ve done that write in your journal the excitement, enthusiasm and passion you intend to experience for the day ahead, the projects you’re working on, friends you’ll catch up with, food you’ll eat, possible miracles that might happen, shopping to be done, your work day etc.
5. Have a massage. Treat yourself to some bodywork like a Swedish massage. Swedish is a more traditional or western soft tissue type of massage, however if you’re after something a little more unique for healing mind, body, and spirit you could choose:
Aromatherapy massage – there’s nothing quite like this one using essential oils for body, mind and spirit.
Ka Huna, LomiLomi – gentle, relaxing, soothing and stretching massage (even watching this massage is relaxing);
Reflexology – therapeutic hand and foot massage;
Reiki – hands on energy healing (aligns Chakras etc)
Vichy Shower – warm water is directed over your body, gently massaging it (this is heavenly, especially after a salt scrub).
Acupressure – form of bodywork based on Chinese Meridian theory
Ayurvedic – part of a traditional detoxification and rejuvenation program of India called Panchakarma – vigorious massage with warm oils and herbs to remove toxins, is calming and balancing, and facilitates profound inner peace.
Hot stone massage – warm smooth stones are applied to the body and employed by the therapist’s hands.
A massage not listed that I experienced while ago was a form of Swedish massage. I was given small smooth rocks to hold in either hand, at the end of the massage the therapist held my feet and ‘tuned’ me, which sounded like a clarinet going up and down the scales. To say I felt relaxed and energised at the same time is an understatement. It was amazing.
I’ve road tested many self help tools over the years; it’s been an amazing journey with the most profound assistance coming from spirit. Sometimes good comes from being blinded by the light.
