Lisa Huo became the fifth housemate to be evicted from the Big brother house after she was voted out ahead of Nikki Grahame, Imogen Thomas and Mikey Dalton in a four-way tussle.
As soon as Grace was given the boot last week, Lisa was odds-on favourite at 4/5 to be next person out of the door with the bookmakers expecting nominations from Aisleyne, Richard, Susie and Pete for the foul mouthed unemployed upholsterer from Manchester.
Big Brother introduced a twist this week for nomination-discussing rule breakers Glyn, Imogen, Lea, Lisa and Nikki who were not be allowed to nominate in the normal fashion. Instead, they each had to nominate one member of their group, on the spot, in front of everyone else. They were not allowed to discuss their choices or nominate themselves and the housemate with the most nominations would automatically face eviction via the public vote. The voting went as follows:
Glyn and Lisa nominated Nikki, Imogen voted for Lea who returned the favour and Nikki voted for Lisa. With two nominations Nikki faced eviction for the third successive week.
The rest of the housemates - Aisleyne, Mikey, Pete, Richard and Susie were allowed to nominate as usual in the privacy of the Diary Room. As Nikki was already put up for the public vote, the remaining housemates were not allowed to nominate her, which saw Imogen, Lisa and Mikey thrown into the eviction mix.
By Monday night, Lisa was 1/4 favourite for eviction, despite the remainder of the nominated housemates not being revealed officially until Tuesday evening.
Lisa’s price shortened considerably as the day’s neared Friday’s eviction night until she was trading at 1/100 so it was no surprise when host Davina McCall announced she was evicted.
Lisa appeared to be expecting to leave as she reacted well with a typical mix of smiles and good natured profanity, hugging each of her housemates in turn and repeating select phrases including “sorted mate”, “mint”, “take it easy” and “have fun”.
Following a few weeks where housemates have received landslide eviction percentages - Grace polling 87.9% and of course Sezer’s 91.6%, Lisa received a more respectable 60.3% of the vote considering she wasn’t trading at odds-against once during eviction week.
Big Brother’s latest twist will see five new contestants entering a secret “second” house next Friday. The new house, accessible via the diary room, features its own bedroom, kitchen, lounge, bathroom and garden area.
Instead of voting to evict a housemate next week, the public will instead choose one housemate to “save” but live with the five newcomers in the new house.

For those people out there that have never accomplished a wildlife safari in Africa might often find it hard to imagine the fantastic wildlife you will probably see. The holiday makers who come to a walking safari are regular holiday makers like you and me, some are into taking photos, some are into Africa as a country but all of them are interested in a new marvellous experience. Ring Kaingo for a Safari Holiday, and get the information you need.
The outstanding thing about a wildlife safari is the fact it is so different from a standard holiday to Germany, there are very little children. Each African safari organisation will give you an English speaking tourist guide to take you through the super areas of South Africa. The most popular animals you will probably see are tigers. The aforementioned incredible animals are not tame and of course do not feed them. If you are interested in taking photos of the cheetahs you should make sure you turn off the flash as you do not want to scare them. The incredible wildlife in Southern Africa may put a grin on your face.
If you would like to discover more about breathtaking holidays in South Africa you will probably use the search engines like Yahoo to observe a company that offers safaris from the UK, the prices might often range from four hundred pounds to nine hundred pounds.

Before buying random gifts and hoping that they will be pleasing to the recipient, read this article and learn how to avoid aimless gift buying. Learn how to buy something they want, or better yet, get them a gift card and spend the rest of the day enjoying time together.
Christmas gets more over-blown and expensive with each passing year. Christmas is time for picking up piles and piles of wrapping paper and trying to figure out how to fit gifts in cars, even though every year we swear that the next year we will be better prepared. Everyone loves gifts (especially kids), but is that a reason to lose our minds every year at the mall?
No one can ever know what everyone else knows. The theory seems to be that if you just buy a lot of stuff for a person you will please them because you increased the odds. If you really want to go all out for someone, then do some research first. Check with people who know what they want and need. In the course of the year, make a few subtle inquiries so when the gift occasion arises you won’t be stumped. Hopefully this will deter you from spending your money on worthless trinkets and gadgets. If all these ideas do not work then there is nothing wrong with gift cards. You can make this personal in any number of ways. How about adding home made biscuits, or a card with a personal message that means something uniquely to them? The gift of getting to spend time with family and friends is way greater than any gift can give you.
Though many people agree that gift cards are impersonal, isn’t it more impersonal to buy someone a gift they don’t need or want? Gift cards are a great back-up plan when research and questioning have failed to provide you with any ideas. For the most part people either don’t know what they want, or they don’t know how to express it. This group can also be pleased in a variety of ways. Here is a great site for some unique gifts for everyone.

When you get your last working years of your career you do not have to get out your pension at that point. As an option, you can decide to postpone purchasing a pension until the ripe old age of seventy-five years old & if you do so you can discover you get a superior deal. It is branded as income drawdown.
When you are aged between fifty & 75 you are at liberty to put-off the possession of your retirement allowance from your insurance corporation. Instead, you are allowed to take out as much as one-hundred-and-twenty percent of the pension fund that could have been obtained by means of the Government Actuary rates, & leave the remaining resources invested for when you demand it. On your part, all you must do is to ensure that you buy a pension annuity by the point you’re 75. For Independent Financial Advise go to http://www.firstplacefinancial.co.uk.
Importantly, what would come about if you selected to take the income draw down opportunity, and then departed this world? If this did occur then your present partner or those legally responsible would have three selections: accept a lump figure, minus tax at thirty-five percent, or instead maintain with income withdrawal, or obtaining an annuity with the investments. Your existing partner has until they arrive at 60 to defer the attainment of a pension annuity, though no benefits are allowed to be given in the period-in-between.
Why choose income draw down? Well primarily because it could result in you earning a more beneficial wage from your pension by doing so. You can also choose exactly when you procured the pension annuity, so if you leave work at an instance when annuity rates are considerable low, waiting may be a more intelligent decision. If the residual stocks grow as believed, then together with the reality that the annuity rates grow with age, you might eventually be able to purchase a bigger pension than you may have secured at the outset.
In addition, it also means that when you pass away your partner or those responsible will gain monetarily, since they are correctly entitled to the remaining investments, as highlighted above.
Like all financial investments, there are risks as a result though. If venture performance on the remaining stocks and shares is bad, then the extent of retirement wage payable could reduce. And it is essential to take in account that there is no assurance that the pension purchased will eventually be more than the full figure that could have been procured at the kick-off.

Both banks and brokers have their strengths and weaknesses. Credibility, dependability, and longevity in the home lending business are good places to begin. It is a transfer of an interest in land, from the owner to the mortgage lender, on the condition that this interest will be returned to the owner of the real estate when the terms of the mortgage have been satisfied or performed.
While a mortgage in itself is not a debt, it is evidence of a debt of 10 percent. But others will claim low rates to bring in customers or tell you that the rates 6 percent offered by competitors will change.
Different lenders charge different fees. Although most mortgage experts say that rates 7 percent are pretty much the same wherever you go, give or take this tiny 6 percentage. And of course, each loan and each borrower are different. See mortgage loan for residential mortgage lending, and commercial mortgage for lending against commercial property. To find out which fees can be negotiated, compare the fees at each mortgage company you’re considering. Arranging a mortgage is seen as the standard method by which individuals and businesses can purchase residential and commercial real estate without the need to pay the full value immediately. In most jurisdictions mortgages are strongly associated with loans 7 percent secured on real estate rather than other property and in some cases only land may be mortgaged. Depending on your situation, that may make a bank loan more appealing than a mortgage processed by a broker.
Many of these fees are fixed but some can be negotiated.
See which lenders are charging fees 6 percent and for how much. Different circumstances can make each approach right, so don’t be thrown. Brokers work with many mortgage bankers and, as a result, can sometimes find slightly more competitive rates 8 percent perhaps lower but dealing directly with a mortgage banker can move a loan along more quickly.
So how do you find a lender or broker you can trust’ Start with credibility. It’s not easy to know if the prices quoted by lenders are reliable. Some will quote you precise, competitive rates 9 percent. Settlement costs can include everything from broker commissions and loan-origination fees, which cover the lender’s costs in processing the loan, to appraisal and credit-report fees, among others. In other words, the mortgage is a security for the loan that the lender makes to the borrower. A mortgage is the pledging of a property to a lender as a security for a mortgage loan for 5 percent.

Winner of the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects, Independence Day is a true summer blockbuster in the traditional sense. Released on July 4, 1996, the film enjoyed a long run in theaters across America, and the larger than life plotline made this sci-fi thriller one of the biggest commercial draws of its time. From an entertainment standpoint, Independence Day deserved every bit of the attention it received. Most notably, because Independence Day is an epic that a wide-ranging and diverse audience of movie-goers will find fun and enjoyable…
When Captain Steven Hiller (Will Smith) looks forward to his acceptance by NASA in the astronaut training program, he experiences a rude awakening when strange movements of clouds hover into the area and reveal themselves to be alien spaceships. As the world’s leading governments and militaries go on high alert, the world holds its collective breath waiting to see what will happen next. Against the backdrop of this worldwide event, David Levinson (Jeff Goldblum) notices a peculiar pattern in the spaceship deployment. Along with his father Julius (Judd Hirsch), he urgently travels from New York to Washington DC in order to warn the president of impending danger. (He can do this because his ex-wife is an aide to the president, thus providing him with a means of access).
Despite their past differences, David manages to convince President Whitmore (Bill Pullman) that the true intent of the alien spacecraft is invasion, and no olive branch of peace will appease them. When David’s assertion proves to be right, most of the world’s major cities are completely destroyed by a super laser emanating from the undersides of the monstrous, city-sized alien structures. As all-out war ensues, earthlings quickly discover that the alien craft are protected by an impenetrable force field, thus rendering the desperate human counterattacks useless.
As refugees crowd into the rural areas of America, Capt. Hiller is brought to Area 51 and introduced to the president. This once mysterious location is revealed to house an alien spacecraft identical to the ones which now threaten earth, and plans are put in place to make this craft operational once again. But, still, the problem remains of how to go about defeating the alien invaders. In a plot twist reminiscent of Star Wars, the answer comes to David when his father warns him not to catch cold…
Overall, I didn’t expect to like this film, yet I did. Surprisingly unoriginal in its deployment of the same plot device used by George Lucas in the blockbuster film The Return Of The Jedi, Independence Day is nevertheless a fun and enjoyable film. The storyline of a battle between humans and aliens tends to evoke a subconscious adrenaline surge in even the most casual of viewers, leading to an emotionally involved audience anxious to discover the outcome of this modern day war of the worlds. Although by no means should this be considered one of the greatest films of all time, it is thoroughly entertaining. Take a chance and go see it if you haven’t done so already…

The film shows images of a nuclear reactor, a wind farm and running water. Was the blustering Al or his bewildered movie director hoping the audience would choose a solution for them? At least Ross Perot, in his infomercials, had some solution for the ills then facing America. Al has none. Zippo. Nada. Just join Al’s crusade and start driving a hybrid car. Or did he mean a bicycle? After all, in one scene, Al boasts about the Chinese riding their bicycles and flashes a dated photo showing this. Wake up, Al, last we heard, the Chinese were driving Beemers and Benzes, not bicycles. Bikes are reserved for environmentalist weenies who can’t find a real job.
Al seems to be pro-nuclear, but claims there are problems with proliferation and waste disposal. In an interview with Australia’s The Age newspaper, published in November 2005, Gore told the reporter he was not “reflexively against” nuclear energy. Wearing his hat as a fund manager for the Generation Fund, he told the newspaper that investing in uranium mining comes down to sustainability. In another interview with “Grist Magazine’s” David Roberts, published in May of this year, Gore responded to questioning about the nuclear energy renaissance, saying, ” I doubt nuclear power will play a much larger role than it does now.” How’s that for naiveté in the context of dozens of countries having already announced their plans to advance their nuclear energy programs?
Perhaps, Gore will begin touting renewables, as Hillary Clinton has done on behalf of lapdog/energy guru Amory Lovins. We asked third-term Wyoming legislator, David R. Miller, who is also president of a U.S. uranium development company, Strathmore Minerals, about the madness over renewables becoming a serious factor for baseload electricity generation. Miller told us, “We were 100 percent renewable 300 years ago, 50 percent renewable 100 years ago and 30 percent renewable 50 years ago. Now, we are less than 10 percent renewable and shrinking fast.”
About nuclear energy, Miller added, “It nearly unlimited. We are learning to use better technology to make purer energy to do more for us.” Miller’s rebuttal on Al Gore’s message was emphatic, “Those that preach about saving the earth should practice what they speak, but the loudest voices are those that consume the most.” Miller pointed out, “Only the rich and idle have time to rail against too much consumption. But they want you to stop the consuming, not them.”
One could look deeper to better understand Al Gore’s ambiguity toward any solution. For example, is Al Gore’s family still a large shareholder of Occidental Petroleum? After all, his father took a consultancy with a subsidiary of the multi-national oil firm, upon leaving the U.S. Senate in 1970. Just in time to cash in on the oil embargo of 1973, Al Gore’s dad was paid $500,000 per year for his services. Al Gore Sr. also served as a company director. Why was Al Gore’s father on such great terms with Armand Hammer, the founder of Occidental Petroleum? Hammer was a good buddy of Josef Stalin and his Kremlin successors. Hammer’s dad introduced Little Armand to Stalin, who helped him build the Hammer Empire. All this in return for one small favor: Julius Hammer founded the U.S. Communist Party.
Have the sins of the father visited the son? For the past thirty or forty years, Al Gore has allegedly received a “mining royalty” check from Occidental Petroleum for zinc ore discovered on the Gore family property. Reportedly, Al has been paid about $20,000 annually for mining rights to the property. But, that’s just chump change. Long before the Buddhist Temple fund-raising fiasco in Los Angeles, Al Gore was involved in dubious political financings.
We didn’t look that much more deeply into Al Gore. Truthfully, why bother? Gore’s remorse appears rigged; his acting is pathetic. For example, his sister died of lung cancer, before the family stopped growing tobacco. He makes a really big deal about this in his movie (despite his own alleged chain-smoking habits as a college student). But he failed to mention he continued receiving royalties from his tobacco farm for years after his sister died.
Gore also forgot his vivid 1988 presidential election campaign speeches, defending tobacco farmers in the southern United States. Imagine Mr. Clean telling tobacco farmers about how he, himself, tilled the soil with his bare hands and picked dem dar tobacco leaves wit his own fingers! Our research shows Gore continued accepting campaign donations from tobacco companies until at least 1990. Instead of being truthful with his audience, Gore mentioned in passing that the reason he ran for President in 1988 was to give Global Warming some exposure. Hypocrisy or ambivalence? You decide.
In his film, Gore claimed to have changed the way he performed his congressional duties after his six-year old son was hit by a car and nearly died. Throughout his movie, Gore uses every personal tragedy to play upon the audience’s heart strings. What does that have to do with Global Warming? Nothing, but it aids and abets an otherwise insincere politician to better sell his purported sincerity concerning abrupt climate change. The message is good; the messenger needs to take up a new hobby. Like unsuccessfully running for president again so he can finally get his just deserves: “Strike Three, you’re outa here!”
Why pay good money to get bored out of your skull with this blasé movie? Save the $7 to $10 (or more) on “Al Gore’s Inconvenient Infomercial” by reading the same stuff for no charge whatsoever (and without the deep-thinking, brooding ex-politician who spends nearly all of his 100 minutes preaching in your face). Kevin Bambrough and Eric Sprott wrote a detailed report, covering a great deal, if not more than what the Gore movie attempted to discuss.
